Nautica Voyage is based heavily on aquatic and oceanic vibes. Its most prominent notes are apple, green leaf, and musk. Since both of these are reasonably priced, you might as well get both of them if you want some diversity in your life. If I could only choose one, it would have to be Voyage. The last difference is the performance. The original Voyage is a considerably better performer, whereas N83 is a weak fragrance. Actually, N-83 is less intrusive, so it might actually serve as a slightly better office cologne. However, since Voyage isn’t a beast, it would be perfectly fine. As far as cheapies go, both have a good deal of use. No, neither are super high end in quality, but they can be useful. Due to their affordability, if you are into marine scents, you can actually get yourself both scents. Nautica Voyage is a fantastic fresh fragrance proven by time as likable and versatile. Great Maurice Roucel created it in 2006. It smells familiar because of the incredible popularity of fresh cucumber/melon calone fragrances in the 90s and 00s, but also fashionable because of the renewed interest in fresh watery fragrances in recent years. This is much more of a starter cologne for guys, so, it can be a good option for younger men. If you’re older, its going to be of a fairly limited use, and you should consider going up-market for something better.It is lovely good for casual wear or at the office, especially in the summer months, which is the case with pretty much any Nautica fragrance. It doesn't overpower friends or coworkers, yet someone could even find it a perfect cologne to wear during workouts and sports. It is an ideal cologne for younger men, or for anyone who wants a pure fragrance to wear during the summer. On the other hand, in the case of N-83, a cold, spicy mint with a tinge of petitgrain greets you at the top. At first, it smells slightly herbal with lighter musk, and the oceanic note pervades the entire composition. Voyage isn’t super powerful but it is noticeable and projects pretty well. I’ve noticed that a lot of the Nautica flankers don’t match up to even the decent sillage of Nautica Voyage. Which is a shame, because some of the better smelling ones could be nice cheapies. The difference in the opening between Voyage and N-83 is a matter of the sea notes contained in N-83 and how it has less of a fruity quality. N-83 is much more oceanic/salty than Voyage, which while semi-aquatic, is highlighted by apple/citrus notes that seem rather juicy. Usually, it’s closer to the lower end. If it could hit that higher end with a bit more power, it could be a much more useful scent. Really, I’d expect 83 to reliably hit 4, and maybe you get an extra boost.

The performance on this is simply non-existent. From the moment you spray this on, it dries down and fades extremely fast. I am talking within an hour it becomes a skin scent. Longevity, even with a dozen sprays is less than two hours. All in all, I would buy this fragrance but quite again. For this price, you can wear it well when you go to the beach or just relax with his friends in the pool. Nautica Voyage is the best Nautica Men’s cologne. The performance is some of the best from the entire line. The smell is the most authentic of all, it’s well-blended. Conclusion If Voyage Sport, had better performance, it would honestly be a solid cheapie. I really liked what they were going for, but it’s just poor execution. There were some interesting things going on there.Projection wise, N-83 is completely moderate. This isn’t one that will fill up a room unless you went completely overboard with it. You do get a solid 30-60 minute, opening act with some power. It settles down after a few minutes and the citrus is joined by spice of coriander and green peppercorn. It has some salt water oceanic elements, spice, and that citrus zest. Voyage still has its unique blend versus most anything else out in the market. Particularly, at this price point. N-83 is a change from the original Voyage, which included citrus fruit notes such as orange; nonetheless, it still opts to go with something that is crisp and clean, with undertones of musk and soft lavender. The dry down is musky and woody, with notes of wild musk, creamy sandalwood, and blue cedar needles that make it a cologne strongly sketched for men.
