A quibble I have with the mic is that it’s not detachable, so you have to be prepared to look like a newscaster when you’re not gaming. I understand that the Game Zero is primarily meant for gaming purposes, but it would’ve been great if the mic wasn’t so firmly affixed, strictly reserving the device for its major function. It’s also pretty large and very obvious, even when retracted. Had it been subtle, I probably could have considered using the headset elsewhere, but the way it is tightly bolted limits its utility to a great extent. The biggest difference between these two pairs of headphones is how they’re built. While the color choices and general aesthetic carry over from the little brother, the Game Zeros are much more rigid in their build quality. Its experience in audio products is probably a good explanation. It’s a different and one that, as an audio guy, I prefer, but gamers may not. It’s certainly not the normal frequency response you’d expect out of a pair of gaming headphone and, while it’s not bad, it’s something that should be considered. Sennheiser Game One Overall

The design of Game One reflects cutting-edge engineering and although it is an all-plastic design, it has a solid feel. Game Zero is also primarily made of plastic, but some metal components are included in its build. It’s not terribly forward-thinking, offering a braided cable with only 3.5mm split cables and no inline remote, but put up with that and you get a fantastic stereo spread and long-term comfort thanks to a nifty adjustable headband tension system.I liked the Sennheiser Game Zero, but I wanted to love it. There’s no denying that the headset is extremely comfortable and portable, and that it provides spectacular sound for competitive games. On the other hand, there’s also no denying that it overemphasizes (and sometimes distorts) voices, and its microphone alone is not worth the huge price spike over a comparable set of music headphones. The EPOS GTW 70 Hybrid wireless gaming earbuds focus on offering a high-end audio experience for Switch and mobile gaming. The GSP 300 headset is a great starting point for those looking to get into Sennheiser gaming headsets - but one that can also stand in its own right given the quality, and value in particular, that it offers. As I said in my review, "getting a Sennheiser-quality headset like this, at this price point, and with this device-versatility, is an excellent proposition and one that is easy to recommend". Some of the Game Zero’s predecessors, with fairly high impedance, required an amp for the audio to be brought up to an ideal level. But with fairly high sensitivity and impedance as low as 50-ohms on the Zero, it is good to go with the on-board audio of pretty much any motherboard. Not having to use any third-party software, equalizer or device to enjoy the sound of your liking is a relief.

All in, the fact remains that the GSP 670 is one of the best Sennheiser gaming headsets - and a seriously excellent gaming headset, period. When a co-worker tested the Game Zero, he said that the headset was comfortable overall, and he especially appreciated that the ear cups make a good seal around the bottom of the ears. He didn’t find the ear cups and headband to be quite as soft as I did, though. Gaming Performance

Pros and Cons of the Game Zero and Game One

This does, however, work very well in games. Sound effects hit much harder, peaking at the top and bottom of the frequency spectrum. There’s a nice sense of space too, feeling gunshots shoot past or tires screech on the ground. The metal bracing on top of the ear cups allows them to fold down completely whereas the Game Ones could not. Sennheiser includes a pretty nice carrying case, too. The mics also contribute to the similarity of these two headphones’ features. When not in use, you can easily swing the mic upward. When you raise the mic, a mute function is automatically triggered.

Additionally, both the Zero and One from Sennheiser have a 50-ohm impedance. Due to their low impedance, they can be connected directly to your phone, laptop, desktop, or gaming console without the use of a preamp, DAC, or headphone amplifier.The Game Zero earns a wholehearted recommendation for competitive games, or single-player ones where dialogue plays a secondary role. If you’re mostly a role-playing game aficionado, though, you might have to invest in a device that handles voices better — and honestly, just about every headset on our Best Headsets list can do so. Music Performance While the recording of my voice was a little too distorted for me to make a podcast or deliver a presentation online, the Game Zero’s mic more than gets the job done for in-game conversations, Skype calls and the like. Bottom Line When I tested the GAME ZEROforgaming, Iexpected nothing short ofperfect performance given the manufacturer’s reputation.Theheadset performedwelloverall. However, while it exceeded in some areas,itkind ofperformedpoorlyin others. Let me explain. The starkest difference is likely due to the seal the upgraded ear pads create. The experience is more immersive, with sound effects creating a space much larger than the Game Zeros little brother.

The metal components of the Game Zero are limited to the hinge that allows the earcups to rotate and to the joint that connects the headband to the earcups. Thus, if you're really keen to get some Sennheiser audio quality into your setup but can't stretch to the larger price tags of the more premium headsets, then the GSP 300 is the right choice. Its compatibility with every device is a major plus, while it retains the Sennheiser excellence in audio (detailed sound, excellent surround/directional accuracy, and great overall richness). Its microphone is good too, though this won't be great for mobile players or for the commute as the mic is non-detachable and a little wobbly on the design front. The latter being a little weak point on the headset overall, actually, as it feels a bit wobbly in the hands.

I would’ve liked to see more considering the price, but, overall, I can’t complain. Features
