Description

You can’t sell camels, but they’re paramount for trading and they’re also worth a little something at the end of the round, enough sometimes to secure the win, so you have to use them smartly. The luck of which cards are drawn and what your opponent decides to take is not within your control, but your hand and your strategies are. A trading game set in India with you trying to make as much wonga as possible before cards or money runs out.

At the end of the round, the player with the most camels in their herd receives the camel token, worth five rupees.Of course, obtaining these cards may require the player to sacrifice several of their own cards from their hand, which is fine if they're total garbage but a risk if they're the makings of another entire strategy. I appreciate that set collection games aren't for everyone, often because there is too much luck involved, but I do think that Jaipur handles itself really well in this context. Plus, with only two players, it's not especially amazing as a filler, because I normally have more than two people waiting around on game nights. Jaipur has quickly become an all-time favourite in my household, and since my household is completely full of board games, I see this as it proving its worth! Waiting to sell might increase your chances of being able to gain more cards for the sale, but it also gives your opponent more time to trade in their cards.

Yeah, you can lose arms and legs, there are spinning floor blades and pit traps, lootable containers on the board. So is finding out the extra diamond you’ve been waiting for has been in your foe’s hand since the beginning of the game.Because Jaipur is strictly a two player card game, and you’re always working with the same resources, you’re always reacting to what your opponent is doing. In this here Jaipur board game review, we’ll tell you why we think it’s one of the best board games ever.
