They may be free of heavy perfumes, dyes, and parabens but they don’t really tell us what is in them either. I have put a small pot in the wardrobe and it gives off a very mild scent to keep the clothes smelling fresh. Failing that, hanging your clothes outside to dry in the sun and a gentle-blowing breeze (as long as you have a warm day and a clean environment) means they'll be infused with nature's fresh scent. What fragrance or more accurately, what combination of petrochemicals, are you using to create this particular fragrance? If you do require precise ingredient information you should consult the manufacturer, whose contact details will appear on the packaging or label.

Of course, given that the product says it lasts up to 12 weeks, you may not want to add it to every wash: it depends on how many clothes you wash and how often you wash them, as well as how intense you want the fragrance to be. So the best way to avoid the potential adverse effects of fragranced products is simply not to use them. Also known as in-wash scent boosters, these small soluble beads (about the size of a lentil) are added to the barrel of your washing machine (along with any other products you may use, such as detergents or fabric softeners). That being said, Lyral, a compound that is in the MSDS report has some slightly credible evidence as a hormone suppressor so I would agree that the safe and wise decision would be to stay away. If you’re none of those things… well, it’s still spectacularly interesting and you should definitely keep reading anyway.

And sadly, because the “fragrance industry” is mostly unregulated, the ingredients are likely undisclosed for a reason — to hide the toxins and VOCs ( volatile organic compounds, chemicals that easily enter the air as gas or vapor) lurking inside, under the guise of “protecting proprietary information. Especially after using vinegar and baking soda and then washing their clothes and having issues is a bit over the top. S. law requiring disclosure and it is left up to the companies themselves to provide “voluntary consumer safety standards. The recommended dosage is ⅔ cup (30g) per wash of 6–13 items of 'thin' fabric or 4–8 items of 'thick' fabric. I don’t think it would hurt anything to add it to the conditioner compartment instead since only water is added to it.

I just want to point out that people who are using baking soda and vinegar together in the wash are not doing anything but wasting their money. There are, in fact, many many more chemical compounds that a plant produces and the size of that list is much larger than those of even the most complex perfumes. It talks more about the chemicals hiding in perfumes and these little guys: https://darlenegoesgreen.After becoming a bit of a cult laundry product overseas, they're now making their way onto our supermarket shelves.

I can appreciate everyone wanting to stay safe and especially in a hospital, PLEASE PLEASE REMEMBER TO SHARE THE AIR!If anyone has any suggestions on how to clean the car or on how to salvage the relationship, I would greatly appreciate it!

So, if you add more than 4–13 items (thin or thick) to your washing machine, you may well be using more than 30g of laundry beads each time you use it, adding further to the cost. You just need a small amount added to your washing however it was recommended to me by a washing machine specialist to dilute it with water. My other daughter sat next to this girl for a couple of hours and ended up with a rash on her arm and a swollen face. These little impurities, according to Prop 65 of California, the National Toxicology Program, the EPA, and the EWG’s own Toxicology Program are known to cause cancer in humans.
