We recommend feeding with 20ml of Tomorite in 4.5 litres (1 gallon) of water. Use 4.5 litres of diluted Tomorite® for most crops, once a week. For heavy feeders such as tomatoes under glass, feed twice a week when the fruit on the second truss has set.

We link each grow bag to an automatic watering system, so all the bags receive the same amount of water, and we feed those that require it with a liquid fertiliser. Some of our bags already contain enough fertiliser to last through our trial. Before you start, give your planter a good shake to allow the compacted compost to break down and water to spread more evenly. Simply cut along the guide lines of the sections you wish to plant in, allowing the most space possible between sections. Once planted water when necessary using about 6 litres to keep the planter moist. Water regularly and avoid piercing the base of the planter. Train plants to fan out, this will help them to soak up as much sunlight as possible and allow a air flow to pass through. Make sure that you add in support canes and tie in the stems.
