I loved reading her journey, at times shocking, others times subtle, as a reader I had mixed feelings towards her. I imagine the Sheriff walking all through the [shoe company] headquarters looking for her and everyone whispering and wondering.

Whilst this was hard to read in parts it was hard to put down, understanding just how Clive managed to get Sally to that state, by manipulation and his actions was quite an insight. I am sure that we have all been the victim of unrequited love at some point in our lives, I know I certainly have, but Ms Cohen sums up how this feels so perfectly; the sadness, despair, frustration and anger you feel towards the object of your affection at some point.
