Description

Elemis is a luxury British skin care brand that utilizes a wide range of natural ingredients to produce everything from anti-aging creams to masks to sun protection. For example, Elemis skincare products are free from Aluminium, Artificial dyes, Coal Tar, DEA, Formaldehyde, Hydroquinone, Methylisothiazolinone/methylchloroisothiazolinone, Mineral oils, Oxybenzone, Parabens, Phthalates, Retinyl Palmitate, SLS/ SLES, Talc, Triclocarban and Triclosan.

Inspired by circadian rhythms, this yeast peptide helps support the skin’s own “synchronized internal clock”.

Who shouldn't use it: While it's certainly not the greasiest face oil out there, if you have active acne or very oily skin, I'd give it a miss. Containing lactic acid to smooth and exfoliate, they also contain a probiotic ferment complex to support skin renewal and boost that all-important glow. Over the last couple years, Elemis has made quite a name for themselves in the beauty, skincare and personal care industries. Silicone-free, the Elemis Superfood Glow and Priming Moisturiser can be used as a daily moisturiser, a hydrating makeup primer or as a highlighter to enhance skin’s natural luminosity. As someone who is hard-pressed to name a single Elemis product I haven't tried and as someone who has also tried just about every other luxury skincare product out there for comparison, I'm in a pretty good position to say which products are (and which aren't) the best of the best.

It’s really good as an illuminator but not quite as a good as the Pro Radiance Flash Balm - I prefer more mega watt glow and this is more subtle. It's dubbed a priming moisturiser, as it can be used as a base under makeup to boost the glow of your foundation. In our opinion, Elemis products aren’t worth the money, simply because there are other skincare brands that offer similar products that are less expensive. It is jam-packed with fatty acids and vitamin E to help nourish and plump the eye area, taking down puffiness as it works.Fermented Green Tea Seed Oil leaves skin feeling nourished whilst an active Prebiotic helps to protect the delicate microbiome of the skin. This unique mixture enables Daikon radish seed extract to impart a delicate slip with good absorption, as well as provide a sensory profile that is similar to esters and silicone type emollients. THIS SITE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR ADVICE OR TREATMENT FROM A QUALIFIED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. And even though times have changed, and we now have our pick of the litter when it comes to cleansing balms, the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm is still a best seller and a front runner for many.
