Non-staggered tuners are typically seven-string configurations. Furthermore, it offers a greater grip on the guitar, which means more precise and positive tuning.

The softwares also easy to upload, has some handy features like the clearing fault codes and adjusting the wheel sizes for larger/smaller wheels (handy for me when I fitted lower profile tyres) and I'm sure he said there's a data logging option coming, which will be great if you progress up the stages so the map can be tweaked to individual cars with different set ups to get that bit extra out of your hardware. Would love to get mine mapped on Vpower with thinners when it's stage 5. Should go like stink! I know a lot of guys think the numbers are exaggerated, and without dyno'ing mine to get the proof they may well be right (who am I to say their wrong, the actual numbers could be well off the quoted figures) But from my butt dyno, the missis screaming at me to slow down everytime I take her out, and comparing this to my old 9000 with the various stages I took that thing through, I'd be very surprised if my dyno results weren't close to the quoted numbers. I could have made a new nut with stupidly deep slots but why make a sub-standard nut to deal with this problem. Tuning your engine can completely transform performance but there are a wide range of upgrades that need to work together to get the maximum effect. For instance, engine remapping can work with your upgrades to generate extra BHP and improve acceleration, with brands like Cobb Tuning specialising in engine remaps across all makes and models. Similarly, delivering the optimum amount of fuel, at the right time, is crucial in a high performance engine and a fuel pump upgrade can help to get it from the tank to the engine in perfect time. AEM Electronics produce a range of high performance fuel pumps capable of optimising fuel delivery, and efficiency, so your engine is always ready to perform; while DeatschWerks fuel injectors help by actually sending the fuel into the engine bay. Jerod Shelby soon released a statement explaining that there had been a mix-up between the video and GPS data when the clip was edited together – and, to remedy the issue, the company will rerun the attempt in “the very near future.”

I'm concerned with torque and clutches. There does not seem to be a definitive best clutch for more torque. The Americans don't seem to even mention clutches even with bonkers Torque...... My standard clutch didn't hold 520nm very successfully with a previous tune and I know someone else on here can't hold his 550 either - so unless it's new and you change them like your pants a standard clutch would only seem viable for 480nm for longevity? ( also need DMF when do clutch change?) However, after analysing the video footage – and applying a little mathematics relating to the car’s gearing and final drive ratio – internet mathematicians soon debunked the claims, saying the true top speed of the Tuatara was around 250mph.

You might get a buzz when the string’s played open even though the string slot is at the right height. You might get an impact on tone, focus, or sustain. You might even get a string that pops out of the slot when you do a bend on the first few frets. JZW's quoted figures are very high compared to most stage 1 tunes, and the stage 1 on paper is a fair bit higher than Maptuns stage 3, the difference in torque numbers especially are pretty mental 550nm vs 480....that's a big difference not sure how he's done it but its just transformed mine and I'm over the moon with it

About our Tuners

No matter how short you make those faraway tuners, it’s not possible to get as steep an angle as you actually need. If your guitar has staggered-height tuners, or you’re planning to install some, that’s cool. Go for it and see what happens. It might be absolutely fine for you. Do keep an eye out for any change in tone or sustain on the open string; any buzzes or rattles on the open string; and —definitely— any poppin’ strings while bending.

There was a little scope for deepening the slot so I took a little down. I didn’t have much hope and I was right. Still had a popping string. If you experience any problems, consider installing (or replacing) a string-tree. They’re not the worst things in the world and you can polish up the string path underneath with some fine sandpaper or some abrasive cord. You can even buff it really shiny if you’re so inclined. Personally I’d rather the (mostly solvable) problems of a string-tree than the (potentially insoluble) problems of a shallow string angle. The Bottom Line It now remains to be seen whether the Tuatara’s second attempt will deliver a high enough top speed to claim the “world’s fastest” record from the Koenigsegg Agera RS, while discrediting the Bugatti Chiron SuperSport’s attempt with an officially sanctioned attempt.

the Americans squeeze every last drop out putting the car on edge and the quoted figures would not be very reliable after a couple of what runs. Staggered tuners have fewer covers on the nut, which means fewer strings that might settle unevenly during tremolo play and cause the guitar to go out of tune. Cooling your tuned engine is vitally important and many standard, OE cooling parts simply aren't up to the task once you start tinkering. Performance cooling parts like those from Mishimoto and Forge are designed to withstand the increased temperatures and power, providing the essential cooling qualities required so that the engine can run at the optimum temperature rather than struggling through in the stifling heat. Kluson have been making guitar tuners since 1925 so when you buy a set of these you know you’re getting time tested quality. Having helped push forward guitar production in the early days, Kluson continue push the boundaries for quality guitar hardware in the modern age. Designed for Strat and Telecaster style guitar, the Kluson Vintage Style Double Line Machine Heads deliver outstanding performance and add plenty of vintage vibe to any instrument. The non-staggered tuners are incorporated with global attachment plates, allowing customers to modify their musical instruments without the use of any additional equipment or drilling tools. These tuners are incredibly lightweight but still durable enough to put up with gigging abuse. They have a smooth action when tuning plus a vintage-correct split tuning post. These tuners are designed as close to original 60s Kluson tuners as possible, so they add performance as well as a sense of authenticity to any Strat or Telecaster style guitar. Called The Exorcist, it’s based on the latest version of the Chevrolet muscle car, but gets radical engine tuning and modifications, enabling it to blast down a quarter mile drag strip in less than ten seconds, and making it a rival for the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and the upcoming Challenger Demon.
