Parabens are a large group of preservatives which are used to prevent bacteria growing in cosmetic formulations. A sunscreen with enhanced UV protection that gives you a fresh feeling. The role of UV absorber sunscreens is to absorb ultraviolet rays and turn them in to energy like heat and infrared. A chemical reaction occurs on the skin which prevents the penetration rays into the skin. The product clearly states in Japanese that it is NOT waterproof. This is the reason why I don’t think it would work well in more humid climates, really hot sunny days, and on occasions you know you will sweat or go into water. This is so unfortunate because it works so well in protecting my skin and it means that this factor limits when I can use this sunscreen. It also has a moisturizing effect like a beauty serum which is good for dry skin. Using it as a makeup base is also recommended.
