I put it on at 6:30 in the morning and I can still catch wiffs of it at 8 at night and that is with me "sissy spraying it" with 1 spray on each arm and 2 sprays around the top of my shirt/neck area. In comparison, to Club De Nuit Intense Man (CDNIM) L'Aventure takes out the ambroxan and smoke, therefore it's more mass appealing. Well, CDNI has way more smoke, and if clones don’t have pineapple in the opening in my opinion, it’s not a true clone of CA. Once Al Haramain L’Aventure Men EDP has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, woody, and smoky fragrance with soft citrus accords. so I bought laventure intense because I heard about the increase in pineapple sweetness that all the reviews talk about and i was extremely dissapointed.After wearing it a few days after purchasing it I was initially unimpressed, as to my nose it smelled exactly like CDIM. Because it is less citric, L'Aventure pineapple makes the fragrance slightly sweeter, for me, the ideal would be the fruity part of L'Aventure with the smoky part of the CDNI.

To those that say it doesn’t last try spraying on clothes as mine lasted the whole day but projected very close after a couple hours. L'A is more synthetic/too lemony, which is not very pleasant in the first 20-30 mins, but then it settles and it's very decent in the air, but still synthetic/too lemony from up close. Sure, you get the lemon blast in the top with CDNIM, but soon after comes the great beastly drydown. Those are few of the comments I received from people around me - ladies' nose in particular seem to gravitate on this one. If you were thinking of purchasing a 2019 bottle of CA i would advise you not to as its a complete waste of money IMO.

Me personally I like the smoky batches better (CDNIM) but I also like the more well-rounded batches (L’aventure) so I tend to switch up a lot lol L’aventure isn’t really smoky, it’s more musky in the dry down, not real dark and more fruity it’s really really nice in the air and you’ll garner the same amount of compliments wearing this as you would wearing CDNIM, I do at least. I let the bottle sit for a week or so and gave it a shake and tried it again, and the experience was entirely different. Bottle - 6/10 - It is functional and easy to use, but the foil wrinkles with time and it's kind of annoying.I've sniffed this parfume today at parfumery and what i think: pretty strong pineapple note (for my nose) not too harsh, a little bit, which is kinda OK. You could say it's in the same fragrance ballpark, but it does not smell the same as Aventus or Explorer.
