There is a 24-hour timer (set in 30 minute increments) that can be controlled through the touch control panel or the remote control. As well as cooling your room, the air conditioner doubles as a powerful dehumidifier to remove any excess moisture that can lead to the growth of mould and damp - ideal for when you need to dry your laundry indoors. The tube to take the air away gets really hot and so does the machine, and with the window not being a smooth fit it's not ideal, so as for cooling down an actual room rather than me sat in front of it, I'm not sure this is the case. The MeacoCool air conditioners work by drawing in warm humid air from the surrounding environment which then is passed over a cold evaporator coil, where the air is cooled and the moisture is removed. We live in a new build, with a square but small master bedroom, so the power of this air conditioner feels right - but it wouldn’t be enough for bigger rooms.

Cannot use the adaptor that is supposed to be used for the exhaust but it fits out the window and stays put with no problem, the hose extends quite far! I assembled it (took 5 mins) and within 30 mins the room temp immediately went down and I got goosebumps from how cool the room got.
