Description

This has a much smoother transition between tracks, except maybe for Los Palmas 7 which doesn't have any of the bustle sound at the beginning. Very Important: Please note that the Divine double LP has a notch broken out of the edge of each vinyl LP (see photo) so the first track on each side cannot be played.

Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, The Beatles, King Crimson, Rolling Stones, Buzzcocks, The Smiths, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Beastie Boys, AC/DC, The Damned, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cocteau Twins, Oasis, Paul Weller, David Bowie, The Clash, Blur, ZZ Top, Santana, Frank Zappa, Specials, The Who, Discharge, Wham! this was advertised as 180gm vinyl, it most certainly is not 180gm; so please be aware if purchasing on this premise !The OBI sash is a professional reproduction of the original, everything else is the original from 1984. Emerging re-energised and reinvigorated with a fresh bounce in their nutty step, the result was their most harmonious recording experience to date.

The result was an album bathed in all the new technology the late 1980s had to offer, and features some of this incarnation of Madness’ most experimental work. Outer sleeve and vinyl are in near mint condition but the thin paper of the picture inner sleeve has split down one edge and partially split on the opposite edge. As their career progressed, they folded in touches of Motown, soul, and British pop to their formula.Sleeve is in good presentable second hand condition vinyl has quite a few surface marks in places, the person who sold it to me said it plays fine. Other artists that contributed tracks included The Jam, The Clash, The Specials, Ian Dury, Peter Gabriel and The Stranglers.

What I can tell you is that most of the mixes/versions are correct to the original edition of the album, notably: Cardiac Arrest, It Must Be Love, The Prince (although the ending may be longer), Los Palmas 7, and House of Fun (with the fade. This LP reissue is pressed on 180 Gram black vinyl and features brand new liner notes by Chrissy Boy, Chas Smash and Lee Thompson. Being released for the first time on vinyl (180gram heavyweight) the album includes the singles ‘Lovestruck’ and ‘Johnny The Horse’, as well as the fan favourite ‘Drip Fed Fred’, which features Ian Dury not long before he passed away.

After a disparate couple of years which saw the band at their most polarised and fragmented, Madness reunited in an industrial unit in Cricklewood at the beginning of the year, where Suggs, Mark, Chrissy Boy, Mike, Lee and Woody realised that what united them was always bigger than what divided them. Can't Touch Us Now is the eleventh and most recent studio album from British ska-pop legends Madness.

VG+ condition, vinyl has a couple of light marks but nothing too notable, sleeve has a word written in biro top left and a date written in biro on the back. Still factory sealed but has a small scuff on bottom right corner (please ask to see photos) the opened one in this pictures is our own one.In my case the discs were pretty much flat - a little off centre on a least one side of each disc (but only a little) and generally very quiet where it mattered. At some point though this album has been remastered, whether that was for the Salvo CD or especially for this vinyl, I don't know. For the first time ever, a brand new album came into the world that they were all completely agreed on.
