We have used the larger Coleman Coastline 6 Deluxe for a number of years, and the additional bedroom that provides is not that practical. However, the living area is great, accommodating both the bags, kitchen, cupboards, toys, and all the other stuff family camping brings.

Ventilation The tent has several windows and the side ones have a metal piece inserted in them which means they roll up when you undo them which is a great feature.

After researching online I found that this zipless bottom is common to SIG tunnel tents. On the first morning, I actually thought that the tent had a leak as there was water dripping (not much) from both of the window loops. This wasn't water, though, but condensation: it is true, you do need ventilation in tents with a SIG as condensation is a real problem. The size of each sleeping section is only really big enough for a double camping air bed, and perhaps a small bag. As the porch extends from roof to ground there is very good protection from wind and horizontal rain. If it took an hour to put up on your own, that's because this is a 4 man tent, so most likely it's made to be put up by two people at least. You can do it on your own but it's tough because of that reason. Even so, it's not as tough to put up on your own as some of the 2 man's I've had in the past. You can also remove the inner tent completely and use the shell only as a single room tent, this would give a huge room of 12.2 square meters.
