I'm not a 100% sure it's more radiant though and my annoying fine lines are still there but maybe using it for a bit longer will change that. I started with the rose hip oil and although the quality is the best I’ve came in contact with, this balm exceeds anything I’ve tried.

Rosehip oil also makes an appearance in some of their other products, but to keep costs down it’s not certified organic and comes from the close relative Rosa canina.We tried all the best The Ordinary products for acne prone skin , from the brand’s cult niacinamide and retinol serums to azelic acid. Our unique oil uses the entire hip including fruit, skin and seed to extract the rose hip oil, which is responsible for giving Kosmea Rose Hip Oil its rich amber color.

The word ‘Kosmea’ comes from Ancient Greek times; it means ’to harmonise or bring into balance‘ and reflects the balancing and harmonising effect that rose hip oil has on the skin. Since then Kosmea have gone from strength to strength with a complete range of skin care based around organic rosehip oil. One way to use it on your face is as a mixture with some of your other favourite oils, including one or two with lovely smells for extra cheer. The small plastic container is certainly not as luxurious as the glass bottle and pipette situation you get with most rosehip oils, but the offering is no nonsense and what the brand is well-known for. It doesn’t take it away, the only success I’ve had in getting rid of it altogether is following a very strict dietary protocol, I’m not always disciplined enough.
