The way he cares for Sloane but continues to deny it is enjoyable.

We finally have Lucian and Sloane’s story! I’ve been chomping at the bit for this book and I have to say that Lucy Score’s writing just keeps getting better and better. What I Loved:

I’ve been waiting for this book… ever since TWNGO came out, I became extra invested in whatever the h happened between Lucian and Sloane to create so much tension and animosity… There was only one woman who could set me free. But I would rather set myself on fire than ask Sloane Walton for anything. It’s a story about the past mixed with today and the results are one hot rich grump and just as hot Librarian and lots of laughs and snorts and antics of their friends and townsfolk’s from the previous stories. Also the continuing mystery throughout all 3 books involving our 3 Heroes comes to a conclusion, making this book one of my best reads all yearAre you excited about Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score? It was clear from the moment we saw an interaction between Sloane and Lucian that there was something there. A title like Things We Left Behind implies much more than just something. At this point, the book is still being written but I feel like this is just enough to get you excited and hopefully, hold you over until the cover is released.This is a snippet of a scene in which the best book boyfriends: Nash, Knox, and Lucian are talking about Sloane. A twitch of fur caught my eye, and I spotted Meow Meow hidden behind the drapes in the front window. Bound by a shared past and the growing attraction they can’t ignore, Lucian and Sloane struggle to find common ground. Lucian’s protective instincts clash with his fear of endangering Sloane, leading him to make the difficult decision to cut her out of his life—twice. However, his choices come at a great cost as Sloane is left vulnerable to new threats. I glared at him. “Like moral or financial support that can be provided from a distance.
