Now, it’s time for the last mailbox in our tour, one you may be familiar with if you have stayed at the Grand Californian! I used pictures from my July 2021 trip except for the PO Box image. I wanted to use daytime images to show off the beautiful, vibrant colors of the mailboxes in ToonTown, especially in case some or all of them don’t return when ToonTown reopens. A COLLECTOR’S ITEM: 2023 is Disney’s platinum anniversary! Commemorate 100 magical years of Disney films with this set of beautiful, collectible postcards designed to celebrate the rich and abundant history of Disney animation from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Strange World .

We are going to go through ToonTown in a circle, so next we’re going to go past Gadget’s Go Coaster to Chip ‘N Dale’s Treehouse. You will find their mailbox just to the right of their front door. It is made completely of “wood” with an acorn resting on top of the striking blue roof and a flag made from a fallen leaf! Their names are on the front of the box in large, bold letters in the same color as the frame of the box. With Big Thunder Mountain on your left, pass the first fork that leads to Galaxy’s edge, and stay on Big Thunder Trail as it hooks to the left. Once you reach the second fork, you can spot the Postmaster’s Office on your right. You can also head slightly down the path for an even better view. While there is no mailbox here, I wanted to include it since like many of the mailboxes on this list, it is a little hidden gem I didn’t even know existed until my second trip! Our next adventure takes us in to the land of Fantasy. Head past Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, past Matterhorn Mountain, and go through the “shortcut” to the right of the castle’s drawbridge that goes past Snow White’s Wishing Well. As you enter Fantasyland, near where the Castle Holiday Shoppe was, you will find… Goofy’s neighbor Donald’s Mailbox is the easiest to miss in all of ToonTown. It is very cleverly “floating” in the water surrounding his home and is much easier to spot at night due to its bright light in the center of the post. The mailbox is bright yellow and floats on a red, blue, white, and yellow buoy. Donald is poking his head through a life preserver with his name on it on the base of the buoy.

A COLLECTOR’S ITEM: 2023 is Disney’s platinum anniversary! Commemorate 100 magical years of Disney films with this set of beautiful, collectible postcards designed to celebrate the rich and abundant history of Disney animation from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Strange World. You will come across the first of the 4, Main Street, U.S.A. Mailbox A, after you pass Entrance Mailbox B and head through the tunnel to the right of the entrance. You can send off a postcard right in front of Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln and catch the show right after!

Make a right to go towards Autopia where you will find the Winner’s Circle gift stand to the right of the entrance. To the right of that, hanging on the wall, you will find Tomorrowland’s stunning blue mailbox! As you head deeper in to ToonTown towards Goofy’s Gas, you might see that Goofy seems to have had a little accident on his way home! Just in front of his home, you will see that he crashed right in to his mailbox! The mailbox has Goofy’s name in bright letters on the side and is a bright blue box on a “broken” post with his mail bursting out from the crash. This collectible keepsake box of postcards features 100 beloved Disney and Pixar characters in celebration of 100 years of Disney animation. Send me a postcard. (Hey! It’s worth a shot! I’d love to get some random Disney smiles in the mail.)

I like to enter right near Central Plaza Mailbox B, passing Astro Orbiters and making a left at Star Wars Launch Bay. (I highly recommend you look directly behind you when you reach the Star Wars Launch Bay sign for easily one of the best views of Space Mountain, especially at night.)Main Street, U.S.A. is home to 4 mailboxes. They are all very similar in design, but have some slight differences in color, text, and style. an empty pole. It seems that with the Holiday Shoppe moving to Main Street, the mailbox was removed, but not moved to the Shoppe’s new location, likely since there is already one there and this one wouldn’t match the aesthetics of Main Street. While I don’t have pictures of it from my first trip, there are a couple blogs that do and you can still see it on Google Earth. This article from D23 has a couple of pictures of it including in the header photo of the article.
