Description
Our 72 piece 3D puzzle ball jigsaws are crafted with premium quality and when completed are 13cm in diameter. Whilst this is fine in 2D because you can accept that what you're supposed to be looking at is the thing in focus, with 3D, our eye is tempted to look at everything within the depth created by the 3D effect.
Joss Whedon made a fantastic adventure film that expertly blends action and character and tone to assembling one of the best super hero films in the history of the genre ('The Avengers' is also a rocking good movie, regardless of the "superhero" label).
The Avengers', whether or not you're watching it in two or three dimensions, is a thunderous example of modern blockbuster surround sound. As for textures, I have nothing but good things to say about this either, from the natural porous texture we see on close ups of Nick Fury and Tony Stark, to the incredibly detailed shaders used for the Hulk's skin texture, it's utterly mesmorizing. Overall, 'The Avengers' is a terrific film, perfectly mixing thrills and action and character emotions.
For me, this is one of the major issues with 3D - you see, with film, you don't choose what to focus on, the director does. The Earth is in danger from an unstoppable and wickedly clever foe, and the only way to save it is to form a team of very special people. To compensate for reduced brightness, I think this 3D version of the film is a little brighter than the 2D (or, at least, it appears that way when removing the glasses during 3D playback), which then evens out and makes the film look nearly identical to the 2D version. It's not just the dialogue that's a treat though, everything sits in the mix just about as well as anything Ive ever heard.effects really picked up a notch during the sequence where the possessed Agent Barton (Jeremy Renner) launched an attack on the helicarrier leading to the Hulk’s transformation, with fire sparks and shattered glasses seemingly spilling beyond the screen all over our viewing area. However, despite this, I never felt as if my 3D experience was too dark due to the format or the 3D glasses. Night sequences do flatten a bit compared to interiors and daytime sequences (mostly thanks to digital atmosphere effects), but black levels are inky -- not a hint of crush -- while shadow details remain impressive.
The overall color palette ranges from dark and brooding to bright and engaging, perfect for high definition displays.D. must act swiftly to form The Avengers, a team of superhero defenders, when Earth comes under attack from Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and his alien army. Even if the movie itself wasn't a rock-em-sock-em good time with reference 2D video and a strong 3D presentation, this track alone would make 'The Avengers' a must own.
It's not afraid to excercise those tweeters, and those of you with a properly configured and calibrated system are in for a treat indeed. So, if you haven't already, throw on some comfy clothes, grab some popcorn and make sure you have your 3D glasses handy as we figure out together whether or not it's worth shelling out some extra moolah for a 3D ticket. This column is all about watching in 3D and the mileage you'll get compared to a regular screening of Marvel's biggest event movie so far. Backgrounds are not consistently blurry or anything, but Endgame is often a stark and not a lush movie; it's just not really exciting to make 3D walls or cars parked on the street in the background stand out. I'm happy to report 'The Avengers' generally meets those expectations, though there are a few flaws. The contrast between Captain America's star-spangled suit and Iron Man's Hot-Rod red and gold exoskeleton against New York's naturally and realistic looking backdrop is truly palpable.
