I want to give my special thanks to the author, Katya de Becerra, for sending me a copy of the ARC personally for my insight into her story and for trusting me to be one of the first to read it. This is a great read and one you definitely want to go slow with even though it’s tempting to read it as fast as you can to see what happens and that ending! Organisations, individuals and all other entities that directly, or indirectly infringe, the Trademark(s), or any infringing mark, will be subject to legal action for unauthorised activity in relation to “Underground” ® and “Under” ® Trademarks or any infringing mark. Katya de Becerra’s new supernatural thriller hides a mystery in plain sight, and will keep you guessing right up to its terrifying conclusion. Inside there is a variety of facilities to help you get fit and stay active including a 120 station gym with dedicated functional fitness training zone and two exercise studios hosting a range of weekly fitness classes such as Yoga, Pilates, Group Cycle and Power Pump.

This prohibition also includes framing the content of any part of this site, as well as unauthorised linking. Shelf-Ready Services send print books to the library with protective covers, identification markers and theft prevention devices applied so titles are ready for circulation. But Midhat, the putative owner of the oasis sees her for what she is: a commodity worth owning long enough to use for his own advancement. First and foremost, to save you some time wondering if you aren’t familiar with Mesopotamian mythology, (like I wasn’t before reading this), this story surrounds the Tablet of Destinies. Your spectator opens the book to that page and is directed to think of either the first or last word on the top line.

Also includes newly obtained first-hand accounts from the people who were there - including Noel Gallagher and Alan McGee - in text by award-winning author Daniel Rachel. When a catastrophic sandstorm obliterates the campsite, Alif and her five friends must survive the unforgiving heat and hostile barrenness of the desert. I can handle some plot holes, too tidy endings, inconsistent characters but bad writing will kill me. I believe this is the general focus of the story, which led me to three hypotheses for what the actual purpose was. They themselves talk us through the pivotal moments in their phenomenal trajectory, from the day Noel Gallagher joined his brother Liam's band, through their first crucial five years culminating at their landmark gigs at Knebworth Park in 1996 - the pinnacle of their success.

That is- until they find the oasis, and while the oasis seems to have everything they need- reality begins to shift and soon they can no longer tell what's real and what is a mirage. He never cites sources for his anecdotes (and for a lot of the events he describes it's clear he couldn't have been present himself), he doesn't seem to connect most of the stories to each other or to any kind of overall narrative, and his prose is just cringey. The main character, Alif, discusses frequently the relationship between her parents, her relationship with her parents, especially her mother, and what career path she wants to pursue. There are also some very silly structural moments that felt like they were written by a kid or someone who is trying to play with structure to make a more interesting experience and it just came off as juvenile to me.
