I think she will continue to enjoy this book for a few years to come, eventually joining in with the story as we read.

As always, Blake's familiar - but ever fresh - illustrations are packed with energy, humour and detail. The pictures are big and bright enough to capture her attention, while the rhyme is interesting and engaging, all without being over stimulating. The images have been taken from original watercolours from some of Quentin Blakes’s most loved picture books.During his time in the role, he celebrated children's books and children's book illustration with a range of projects and exhibitions, and conceived the idea for the House of Illustration, the world's first centre dedicated to the art of illustration in all its forms. The storyline is entertaining with good use of rhyming language and the drawings are just brilliant.
