The set features new artwork on the box and on each sleeve (which are all reversible with original artwork), and there is so much bonus material to sift through that it’ll keep you busy for weeks just to make it through all of it. Whilst Donnie and Yeung run into trouble during a tailing operation, one of their colleagues, Peter (Blaine Lamoureux), manages to track the criminals to their intended dealing location.

As expected, they also get a little into Cynthia Khan and her career, even comparing her films to Michelle Yeoh and her previous ones.

It’s great to get a first-hand account of the making of one of these classic slices of Hong Kong action cinema.

In the Line of Duty IV comes fitted with Cantonese and English mono dub options, both in uncompressed DTS-HD Master Audio. As with the previous two films in the set, the results are strong, though held back somewhat by a couple of things.

In many ways, she and Yat-chor are the leads and Yen is along for the ride, despite the fact that he gets the coolest scene (a battle aboard dirt bikes) and is usually the biggest face on the video box. Michelle Yeoh and then Cynthia Kahn star as the toughest cops on the streets, using fists, feet and guns to take down triads, thieves and international criminals. As much a part of the success is Corey Yuen whose work here is lean, mean, and perfectly modulated in style and tone.
