More than 75,000 people attended that game, the biggest Matilda’s crowd ever. I’m so happy for those kids. Like I had Suzie O’Neill, girls who play to play soccer now have Sam Kerr and Mary Fowler and Steph Catley. Maybe if I went along to a Matildas game when I was young, I would have asked my parents if I could join the local club with my brother.
