Honestly this could easily be a women's fragrance I get a lot of jasmine , neroli and a hint of gardenia but the salt and laurel give it a bitterness which prevents it from going full on feminine. Im getting bored with salty marine styled fragrances unless they are done in some imaginative or subtler way (Hawas). The Chypre fragrance family is characterised by a fine fragrance that particularly confident women appreciate. Once Paco Rabanne Invictus Intense has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, sweet, animalic musk (ambergris), boozy (whiskey), and salty fragrance with white floral (orange blossom) and spicy accords.Jubilee fragrances are only inspirations, and are not ‘identical’ to any other fragrance or original, nor are they to be confused with the originals. On clothes goes on forever, very good longevity on skin ( 10-12 hours ), projection I'm not quite sure. I think over the years I've gotten more of a like for this version, because when it was first released I liked it less, and now it's harder to get. Unfortunately the tacky bottle remains the same as well, and Paco Rabanne seems to pretend to defy Armaf in the worst flask design award. I remember testing this randomly when it was released, after a day the scent stuck on my hoodie sleeve and I couldn’t stop smelling it.

If I were to compare Eros Flame and Invictus Intense, the latter has more masculine smell not too much sweetness and Invictus Intense is the winner. and i thought it was damn good, potent, sweet, fruity, little darker and different enough than the other two. I find them redundant because Invictus is already aquatic and Intense not so intense to start off, smells unoriginal and very simialar to the original. To my nose, the "bubblegum" note isn't there as with the original which made the scent seem juvenile in a way.

I know everyone has their own opinions and I do understand that some people will not like this but for the vast majority who love Invictus regular will love the Intense flanker. Smells like the original without that Aquatic opening and without that synthetic vibe coming from the Jasmine and the bailiff note in the heart. A rich, powerful, long-lasting nectar blending spicy woods and biting freshness, for the epic achiever. Invictus Acqua has been a disappointment for me and never really grabbed my attention, no matter what version I tried.This fragrance does not have the original bubblegum opening, it is more spicy and floral, but what stands out from the first few minutes is an amber accord.
