It's not perfect - the fan belt causes the crankshaft to flex on rotation on mine causing an horrific graunching noise, so if yours does that, remove the belt (that's the external belt you can see going to the 4bladed fan in the pic if that's unclear) it makes no difference other than obviously the fan will no longer rotate. We did make a couple of mistakes towards the end, however: the rocker shafts had somehow been assembled the wrong way around on one bank of cylinders, and the ignition timing was surprisingly fiddly and required some initiative to sort out.
