If you use a lens with electronic aperture and no manual control ring, because this lens mount adapter is fully manual, your aperture would remain at its maximum aperture (lowest f-stop).

Although an adapter may have a lens, it's not the same as camera add-on lenses that screw onto the front of existing lenses to change their focal length. For example if you have an old Nikon lens and you know it was used on a Nikon FM2, you can easily find that the lens has a Nikon F-mount. If you have a modern Nikon lens, the same adapter with a manual aperture control feature is also available. even third party like tamaron, sigma, tokina etc also make good lenses… I don’t think it is sensible to use lens which is not made for a particular system.

There are AF adapters for Nikon F to mFT (I have a Viltrox that works well), but does such an adapter to R mount exist?To utilise quality old lenses with your new camera, or match a different make of lens to your camera.
