The romance was also okay. For moments it looked like insta love, but then I remembered that they dated like for 3 months. And then they spent 9 years separated. The less I think of the insta love of 2 days, the better for my sanity, believe me. as much as i liked vivi and her relationship with gwyn and elaine, rhys was the star of the show. i would read this book again JUST for him. he had me grinning throughout the entire book and was just so unintentionally funny sometimes 😭 the way he’s obsessed with vivi? and calls her “cariad”?? 😩😩 on my knees.
