With regards of GhostFace® getting onto the big screen, it wasn’t until 1995 that the mask was found by Marianne Maddalena who was with Wes Craven while scouting for locations in an old house of a mask collector that had sadly died, he liked the idea that the mask could be bought anywhere at any variety store, meaning anyone could be the killer in what was at the time his upcoming movie “Scream”. Since the movies release many versions of the mask and costumes now exist, GhostFace® has become a VERY popular character/icon in regards to many fans of him and the films. In recent years we have had some additions for the younger audience too, in 1998 we saw a “GhostFace® Family” picture from Fun World, which had different costume sizes and a “all in one” kids cloak with sewn in mask, and more recently the “Bobble Head” Costume which has a light weight large foam mask, one of the more popular masks i remember in this type is the “Bleeding mask” and also a “Glowing Blood” version was made, a new edition is a “Bleeding Zombie” which was out in 2010. Various colors have been seen over time. In the "Fantastic Faces" line, colors offered were white and bright orange, pink and green. Further down the line in 2003 we had "Metallic Masks" these were Red, Blue, Purple and Green and rare now. The scene where Kirby says that her favorite scary movie is Bambi (1942), mirrors the scene in Scream 2 (1997) where Randy tells the killer that his favorite scary movie is Showgirls (1995). An event was going on at the Port Jefferson Library involving three authors who had set their stories in and around Port Jefferson, RJ was one of the three because of his novel, ‘The Face of Fear’ and he had put up several masks around the room prior to the event taking place.

Another Fact is in regards to the tags on Fantastic Faces masks that maybe unknown to newbies who are starting to gather up masks, the ‘Yellow Star’ tags are only for the regular Glow in the dark masks and the ones without the star were for the coloured masks, the only non glow Fantastic’s to fans knowledge were the hooded types.. so all three tags above are now explained as to which type masks they would carry on them. In the scene where Jenny (Aimee Teegarden) explains to Marnie (Britt Robertson) the story about the Stab movies, she says “Stab 5 has time travel, which is by far the worst”. Wes Craven had the idea of time travel in dreams for “A Nightmare on Elm Street 4” but the studio rejected it.

Jenny lives in Woodsboro and loves the STAB films, she has seen them all and loves Stab 7, she rooms with Marnie and likes to scare her with the app on her phone posing as GhostFace®! Stars Courtney Cox and David Arquette, who were married in 1999 after meeting during the making of the first Scream film, had filed for separation in October of 2010.
