I’ve read and enjoyed all of Cathy Glass’s books, but this one was especially good. As someone who worked in homelessness I’d like to commend Cathy for her accurate and compassionate telling of Frazer’s story. Harper Collins have bought world rights in Cathy Glass’s next fostering memoir. Innocent is the true story of little Molly and Kit, siblings, aged 3 years and 18 months, who are brought into care as an emergency after suffering non-accidental injuries. It will be her 31st book and 23rd fostering memoir. I am delighted to say that Unsafe has stayed at No 1 in the UK charts for a third week. Thank you for all your kind comments. They are very much appreciated. Cathy Glass’s latest inspirational memoir for Harper Collins, Saving Danny, has had a great review in the Daily Mirror. When Cathy was first approached, she was concerned about whether she even knew how to look after a baby. When she collects him, she isn’t given any details as to his family history. Everything is kept a secret, even Harrison himself. The social worker tells Cathy that very few people know that Harrison exists. A Secret Existence

Harper Collins have bought world rights in Cathy Glass’s latest fostering memoir Lost Boy about gender fluid Stevie. It was so inspiring to see this little boy have so much faith even though he is so young. This one almost hurt more because the father wasn’t horrible, he just knew he was dying and wanted to leave his son in the best circumstances. If you want to know whether Michael manages to keep his faith despite everything, then do yourself a favour and grab a copy of this book! As a person who loves to read anything true storyline and a great fan of you and your books, much love to you. It is this type of sad but honest writing that helps the reader sympathize as well as empathize with the child that Cathy finds covered in blood that first night, after cutting her own wrist. She documents how eventually it became obvious that the child was in need of psychiatric help. Readers cry at the heart wrenching story of how Social Services removed Jodie from Glass’s care and had her placed in a residential unit, instead of paying for the help the child needed. This happened, in spite of the fact that Glass was able to get Jodie to open up and reveal details about the abuse her parents and others had been afflicting on her. The plot unravels like a movie when members of a pedophile ring are arrested and brought to justice. Hidden I have two books coming out soon – one by Lisa Stone, The Gathering, out 3rd August, The other a Cathy Glass memoir, Unsafe. 31st August. I hope you enjoy them, xCongratulations to Cathy Glass whose latest fostering memoir Neglected has gone straight to no 1 on its first part week sales.

Michael is a cheerful and wonderful little boy. He’s carefree, prays every night before bed, and believes that angels will take his father when it’s time for him to be reunited with his mother in heaven. Michael begins to form an incredible bond with the family, and so does his loving father, who is looking healthier than ever. Just as they all start to settle into this new routine, a disastrous tragedy strikes. I am delighted to tell you that Unwanted is No 1 for a second week. Many thanks for all your kind comments. They are appreciated. The last few books and especially this one is jjst ridiculously patronising towards the young mum. She's 20 not 12. The books have been subtly judgemental, especially in regards to the money going to booze and drugs from the homeless man. Harper Collins have bought world rights in Cruel To Be Kind, Cathy Glass’s account of fostering six year old Max.Not only is “Cathy Glass” a pseudonym, but so are the designated names of the children that she writes about. This is perfectly understandable, considering the delicate nature of the material that Glass covers. Readers who typically enjoy Cathy Glass books are individuals who are partial to genres that are inspirational memoirs or true life stories. Glass started writing in her spare time, when she wasn’t busy caring for her family, including her various foster children. In addition to the success that Cathy Glass has known for the foster care related memoirs she has written, she has also published three novels. The first was titled: “The Girl in the Mirror”, a story about a young woman who uncovers a terrible family secret that was buried long ago. The other two titles are: “My Dad’s A Policeman” and “Run Mummy Run”. Like all of the books by Glass, these novels are based on true stories. Even just a few years ago, the idea of trying to advertise your books on TV would have seemed rid... Read more

It’s 3 long days that Cathy spends anxiously worrying about Alice’s whereabouts. She is finally found safe and unharmed but traumatised from the experience. Poor Alice is so young and vulnerable, and Cathy’s family take her in immediately. They all become very protective of little Alice. Finding A New Home I am delighted that Unwanted remains in the UK top ten for another week. Thank you for all your kind comments. I write my books to raise awareness so I am pleased this book has reached so many. Glass did a phenomenal job with this heart-breaking story. Even though she was one of the main characters, she never took the spotlight away from Dawn. I think that’s a point of departure in all of the best novels by Cathy Glass: the focus is always the child. There are so many questions you’ll be asking yourself by the time you’re done reading this book, but the biggest one is this: why would a mother believe that giving away her new-born child is her only option? That’s what Cathy Glass is about to find out in this best book. Little baby Harrison is left in Cathy’s care at only one day old. Just heard from my publisher that Unwanted is still in the Top Ten! Week 6! Thank you so much for making this book a success. This first best-selling book by Cathy Glass is one that will leave you with conflicting emotions. I found myself angry and sad at the same time. Damaged is a book about an 8-year-old girl named Jodie. It is hard to believe that someone so young could already be so violent and aggressive, but Jodie is, and it’s left her with no other foster families to turn to. Cathy Glass is her last hope.
