Description

Theoretically, the AX73 can put all of its 5GHz bandwidth (4804Mbps) on a single connection, but there's no way to experience that until 4x4 clients are available, if ever. On the 5GHz close-proximity test, the AXE75 garnered 918Mbps. That was faster than the Linksys Hydra Pro 6E (750Mbps) but came in right behind the Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 (938Mbps) and the Netgear RAXE500 (936Mbps). On the 30-foot test, the AXE75’s score of 360Mbps topped the Linksys Hydra Pro 6E (303Mbps) but was significantly slower than the Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 (521Mbps) and the Netgear RAXE500 (530Mbps). Consequently, you might find this review a bit predictable. My mantra has been how Tri-band Wi-Fi 6E is generally not a great idea for a fully wireless environment but is excellent for a wired home. And that applies in this case, too.

It's recommended that users stop all Internet applications on the computer, or simply disconnect Internet line from the device before the upgrade. The Archer AXE75 is the first Wi-Fi 6E router with a reasonable price, and nothing currently comes close to its affordability. Breaking into this relatively young market with modest specs for a fair price makes this the top choice and the router to beat on value. Rival brands will no doubt be clamoring to offer their takes, but your options for Wi-Fi 6E alternatives are slim so far. This router may not support all the mandatory features as ratified in the IEEE 802.11ax specification.Hardware specifications: TP-Link Deco XE75 AXE5400 mesh router TP-Link Deco XE75 AXE5400: Detail photos The TP-Link Deco XE75 AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System’s retail box. When added all their bands together, each router has a total bandwidth of 5400Mbps. In terms of Wi-Fi speed, each can be as fast as its fastest band since a Wi-Fi connection takes place on a single band simultaneously. The TP-Link Deco XE75 is very compact compared to the ZenWiFi Pro ET12. App-operated, simple local web interface As for Internet speed, in the best-case scenario, within 40 feet and a line of sight, I generally got between 500Mbps to 820Mbps on a Wi-Fi 6 laptop. For that anecdotal speed testing, the Archer AXE75 hosted a 10Gbps Fiber-optic broadband connection via its Gigabit WAN port. To put in a sentence, the Deco XE75 is an affordable Wi-Fi 6E system that gets the job done with minimum effort as long as you’re OK with managing your network TP-Link’s way.

Intelligent Networking for a Smarter Home

Clearly, without a Multi-Gig port, you can only expect the ARcher AXE75 to deliver sub-Gigabit connection speeds at best. OK NAS performance (when hosting a portable SSD) Saving clients' battery power requires clients to also support the 802.11ax Wi-Fi standard. Actual power reduction may vary as a result of network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors. Use of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Wi-Fi 6E, and features including OFDMA, 1024-QAM, and HE160 requires clients to also support the corresponding features. Not all seven 160MHz channels may be available in the 6 GHz band in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions. The double channel width refers to 160 MHz compared to 80 MHz for general WiFi 6 routers. Each Deco XE75 router is a relatively compact tube measuring 4.1-inch (105 mm) wide and 6.7-inch (169 mm) tall. It looks like a smart speaker. On the new 6GHz band, it was about the same as any other Wi-Fi 6E router. This band has a much shorter range than the other two and generally only works well when clients are within a line of sight.
