Mai even has him film her all night while she is asleep. Along the way, Mai behaves seductively and strongly implies attraction to Tomohiro. Mai reveals a boy named Nozomu Yamamoto who bullied Tomohiro in middle school to be her boyfriend, however, he keeps filming as Mai goes on a date with her Yamamoto and even enters an abandoned factory and starts to have sex with him. Before the Yamamoto can complete the act, however, Mai seizes a metal pipe from the floor of the factory and brutally clubs him to death. Tomohiro is strangely transfixed by the scene and realized to his horror that he is aroused by the murder. Mai, still nude and covered in her victim's blood, asks Tomohiro to stand still and kisses him, before taking the memory card from his camera. When she kisses Tomohiro she reveals that she is still a virgin as Yamamoto never penetrated her. Beautiful All Along: Not like she was hiding much but when she goes on camera though, Mizuno steps up a few notches. The characters are cliche, plain and uninteresting to see. You get your MC, boring, has no meaning in life and just stays there for plot convenience, then you have SC, who is a crazy yandere bitch that will do anything for money and fame (or just outright crazy). Any other character introduced will just make you annoyed to the point you're asking yourself 'when will they die?' and if that thought ever arose from my mind, I would drop the series completely. You don't really feel for the characters but rather to just pitch a tent or unleash the water gates.

A middle-aged man who happens to be the Number One content creator on DEAD Tube. His videos are basically trashy gossip shows with none of the sex or violence in every other Dead Tube video, but he always gives away all the money he makes on them to his viewers. This was all part of Machiya’s plan; to have Furui experience all of the joys of life in an effort to rekindle his will to live... before killing himself anyway. At first Furui seemed to have seen through the plan, forcing himself to return to his nihilistic views and placing the explosive collar on to end it all. But Mizuno’s last display of sobbing over his impending death caused him to flip again, saying he wanted to live. The final video captures what Machiya envisioned all along: the suicide of someone who wanted to live. Beauty Equals Goodness: Averted hard. While this could be applied to the series as a whole, she arguably takes it to the next level; taking great pains to dress and maintain mannerisms of a beautiful, refined high society lady. After losing her cool (courtesy of a few hits to the face by Mashiro), Machiya calls out her true nature as someone who just wants to destroy things that other people consider beautiful, innocent, or pure. Karmic Rape: Matsumura ends up being the target of this trope on three seprate occasions and counting. First by Mashiro, who sodimized Matsumura with a police baton after interrogating her. Then by Justice Man, who raped her for simply trying to talk him out of killing Dillgent Manager. Which was then followed by Toshio and Mitsuko, who both raped Matsumura on camera after drugging her drink.

Terror Hero: Calling her a "hero" in any context is pushing it, but a key part of Mashiro's success as a fighter is her innate ability to inspire sheer dread into the hearts of her enemies. Throwing off their gaurd long enough for her to land a killing blow.

Berserk Button: Accusing him of being a “fake hero” is a good way to end up having your face smashed in by Justice Man, as Diligent Manager learned the hard way. Sex Is Violence: Gets very turned on by watching people being brutally murdered. At one point, Miwa strips down and climbs on top of him, only to become distressed when he's unaffected by her seduction attempt. He does eventually get aroused, but only after she tells him about a painful past experience. Her sadistic nature may have spurred from her belief of beauty coming from things not normally associated with beauty. This was later the cause of her family's murder in an attempt to recreate 'beauty'.

Single Woman Seeks Good Man: How she feels about the Diligent Manager after her failed seduction attempt. She's completely overwhelmed by his refusal to break from his principles, refusing to lust after her even as she and Matsumura are literally having sex with him. Afterwards, he chastises the two of them with an hour long lecture, saying that they should value themselves more as people. She's never met someone who has treated her with such respect and kindness without an ulterior motive (such as sex or money) before. As much as she outwardly denies it, she genuinely believes he is a good man, going so far as to convince Machiya and Mashiro to cancel their plan to kill him. Shame that the Justice Man team ends up defaming and killing him using a nearly identical plan. And Now for Someone Completely Different: Becomes a protagonist starting with the DEAD Tube House arc. Mai is able to fight while suffering two gunshot wounds (one from behind on her rib and one on her leg) by Ms. Balus. Frame-Up: Ten and Justice Man splice the video of Mizuno forcing herself on him with audio from them raping and torturing her so they can kill him in the name of "Justice". Mai is an incredibly powerful girl who is capable of killing almost anyone in an instant in the DEAD Tube series.

Betsuki’s past is revealed to be a case of a Teacher and Student affair, she fell deeply in love with a student who convinced her to follow a serious and sexually intimate relationship; in the truth the student used Betsuki as gateway for him and his friends to have sex, the school board found out and she was fired; however Betsuki became twisted after she was offered with keeping her career as a teacher if she participated on DEAD Tube, creating a perfect image of her beloved student, projecting in anyone she has sex with, if they fail to please her she will kill them, like she originally did with all the guys her boyfriend shared her with.

Put on a Bus: After the events of the DEAD Tube Neo arc, she leaves the Film Research Club and transfers schools, specifically so she wouldn't be pulled into DEAD Tube again. Loves My Alter Ego: Sums up the true nature of his relationship with his sister. She's so in love with the persona of Justice Man that once he loses his mask after saving her from an explosion, she doesn't even recognize his actual face, calling him disgusting and demanding he stop touching her. At first i thought the main male lead was just your average student getting caught in a mess. But my god. I clearly did not expect him to have such a weird fetish. Ever heard of the phrase" Never Judge a book by its cover?" yea, well this phrase could be used on every Character. Its the Unique sudden Eureka moment when you finally see their true colors that makes you think,"Wow that's screwed up" But once you expect this the factor of amazement is gradually decreased. One thing that makes me sad is the development of many characters are utterly ignored.(or just ATM). If we could learn more about the characters then maybe we would emphasis with them a bit more. But still gotta Love the Main lead, Both female and Male :D.

Four Eyes, Zero Soul: She wears glasses in her civilian attire and is just as much of an amoral sadist as the rest of DEAD Tube's participants.Ax-Crazy: Is almost as crazy as Mashiro, having no qualms killing or raping anyone he or his sister deems to be an evil villain. Distressed Dude: Abducted before and tortured during DEAD Tube House, leading to Mai's participation. Smarter Than You Look: As the series progresses, Machiya keeps inching away from the image other people had of him; it turns out he is smart enough to devise and execute complex plans to manipulate people and has sufficient engineering skills to make a homemade explosive collar. The DEAD Tube House arc sees her team-up with Justice Man once more, even after their first buisness venture as content creators ended in betrayal. Would Hurt a Child: Not only did he allow his daughter to be murdered, the only reason he raised her for fourteen years was specifically to film her being raped and killed.
