Deadpool jumps between several universes where he alternately allies with and/or fights against various odd members of the eclectic Deadpool family. Deadpool used Pym Particles to get a bunch of explosives in and then blew them all up, killing Captain America, Spider-Woman, Iron Man, and more. However, Deadpool also has a healing factor and had a cure for that in computers that monitor their vitals and then kill them as soon as they regenerate. And, yes, he has fought for his life against mountain lions and he did perform on stage as the World's Youngest Hypnotist. First he decimated the Marvel Universe, then he corrupted the literary universe (Ideaverse), and now he's going to eliminate every version of himself in the multiverse.

Given how abstract the Killology has been, I was a bit disappointed with how DKD turned out; first Deadpool, once again breaking the fourth wall, acknowledges a thing as Marvel continuity in its comics, even that he is a comics character existing in comic books, and attempts a surreal form of seppuku, and then he goes even further, going into books like Huck Finn, Moby Dick and Little Women to kill classic characters whom Marvel’s characters were loosely based upon. el Deadpool malo ya sabía que se podía regenerar, pero no se regeneraba porque no quería seguir existiendo. It’s fun seeing all the different permutations of Deadpool – the Deadpool X-Men, Dogpool, Pandapool, Galactapool, Deadpool the Duck, and, maybe the greatest of them all, Beard o’Bees Deadpool – but that’s really all this mini-series has to offer.Deadpool set out to kill every hero and villain in Marvel before finally setting his sights on the creators of Marvel Comics in our world.

Can the Merc with a Mouth put an end to this rampant ‘Poolacide or is it the end of the line for this transdimensional Deadpool dynasty? That made it almost poetic justice that Deadpool made Xavier watch as he killed the X-Men in various ways.

Seeing Banner's body falling one direction and his head flying in the other was just brutally graphic for a Marvel Comic book. Salva Espin was probably less delighted that Bunn’s vision was of hundreds of different Deadpools heading to the slaughter, based on numerous other Marvel characters, and occasionally other properties also. However, after killing Taskmaster, Man-Thing knew what Deadpool was doing and let him through the only way he could. Overall, a very cool story with a messed up premise, tons of existential undertones to keep you by, and deeply troubling themes that will leave you mentally exhausted but highly satisfied with your purchase.
