If you read my past articles, the Hada Labo Gokujyun series is one of my favorite lines of Japanese skincare product lines ever! I usually take 2-3 generous pumps of the Hada Labo Gokugyun Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover to cleanse my skin on days when I’m wearing makeup and i feel it does a FANTASTIC job at breaking down all of my makeup. This well known Japanese oil cleanser is loved by many for its gentle way of cleansing impurities, oil, sunscreens and makeup. Gokujyun Oil Cleansing contains gentle-on-skin ingredients such as pure olive oil, and moisturizing agents such as two types of hyaluronic acid (including super hyaluronic acid) for a mild and hydrating cleanse without a taut after-feel.

I have never tried this product before, it was very exciting to look at the product for the first time.

It didn’t mention how long I was supposed to cleanse for, so I did so for about one minute, trying to reach every single area of my face. When you rinse off your face with warm water, it emulsifies beautifully, leaving it clean and prepped for the second cleanse. Many oil cleansers that I prefer to use are usually very light, not heavy and thick, so I was very happy to see that this product was very light and thin in texture. Infused with hyaluronic acid and concentrated olive oil, this cleanser effectively rids skin of impurities and even waterproof makeup although gentle and non-abrasive.

High purity olive oil that has been specially chosen for its gentleness on the skin and two forms of hyaluronic acid—super hyaluronic acid and skin absorption type hyaluronic acid—are combined to create this washing oil.All you do is take a few pumps of the cleansing oil into your dry palms and rub it gently all over your dry face and neck to break down skincare, makeup or any product buildup. I’ve never used their oil cleansers before, so I’m excited to share with you guys my experience trying out this product for the first time! Also, there is NO scent or smell in this cleansing oil, so it’s a great one to try if you’re sensitive to fragrance in your skincare. On the packaging, it does mention that it would take off waterproof makeup, so the reason why there was a light bit of residue left on my skin may be because my waterproof mascara and eyeliner are very strong. Hada Labo is a global cult favorite with its collection of moisturizing cleansers, toners and creams.

It's gentle to your delicate eye area and eyelashes and is also effective at removing the most stubborn of mascaras. It uses a combination of mild cleansing agents (palmitic acid, peg-20 glyceryl triisostearate) and should be able to cleanse the skin gently. Before using this oil cleanser, I used micellar water that just made my skin feel drier, especially during the winter season. This cult favourite cleansing oil has a thick, velvety texture that glides effortlessly across the skin to lift away dirt and makeup without tugging at your skin.
