Our disciplinary procedure after exhausting all efforts to motivate/encourage any child is as follows: Please do not bring the Masjid into disrepute by your actions outside. Remember everyone is an ambassador for our religion! We must not damage the reputation of the Masjid through our actions out in the community. Please note: Any other item may be confiscated if the teacher deems it unsafe/unsuitable for class. Children and Young people on the edge of receiving support from children’s social care services or in the process of being referred to Children’s Services

We strongly believe that a face-to-face meeting between the parent and teacher in the presence of the student is the best way to discuss your child’s progress, behaviour etc. and therefore parents must bring their child/ren with them to the meeting.

Safe & Secure

Madrasa is awarded the UNESCO King Sejong Literacy Prize for its programme ‘Madrasa Arabic lessons’. Parents / guardians must fill in a holiday request form before they go abroad with the child; failure to do so will result in your child losing his/her place at the Madrasa. If, during the madrasah opening hours (4.45pm – 7.00pm) you need to attend medical appointments or must tend to a medical need or have to attend a Support Group, then you will also be eligible to send your child to madrasah for the one hour slot from Monday 15 th March. You, the parents/guardians, have always charitably and generously helped out in the past and we now humbly request for you to donate once again – especially during the auspicious month of Ramadhan. However small your donation may be, it will be immensely appreciated by all those who will use the Madrasah facilities in the future. You will earn their duas and more importantly, the Almighty will reward you all immensely. At Al Madina Masjid Islamic centre, we hope to inculcate Islamic manners and character in all the children. We expect parents to uphold and encourage their children to practice what they have learnt in Madrasa at home too; an aspect of our teaching includes the respect and obedience that you would expect from your children towards yourself; similarly, teachers also deserve the same respect and obedience.

We are writing to inform you that the end-of-year parents’ evening will take place on Friday 27 th May 2022.All applications must be submitted early as possible; as all requests for admissions are dealt with according to the date we receive them. The minimum age for admission is 5 years for both boys and girls. On the Fun Day, your child should wear their Jubbah and if playing football, then suitable clothes underneath the Islamic Studies books (Qadah, Quran, Gift for muslims etc), exercise books and pen (If both are required). We have an urgent project underway for the New Girls’ Madrasah. A brand new car park needs to be built urgently (behind the building) before the New Girls’ Madrasah building can open.
