For example, with shutter priority mode selected, the rear LCD reveals a slider graphic of where in the shutter speed range the shutter speed is currently set to. Tapping the Q button gives users the opportunity to increase or decrease the shutter speed using the touchscreen as well as adjusting exposure compensation, drive mode, focus position and the method of focusing (One Shot, AI Focus, AI Servo) from the same screen. The 200D / SL2 is well-equipped for wireless connectivity with Wifi, NFC and Bluetooth, all of which I’ll cover later in the review. I’ll just finish for now by noting the 200D / SL2 is also compatible with Canon’s recent BR-E1 Bluetooth remote control accessory. So with a viewfinder that’s limited to a basic 9-point AF system with modest low-light sensitivity and only one cross type sensor, and live view limited by a lower frame rate, the EOS 200D / SL2 isn’t a leader when it comes to action or sports photography. If you want faster burst shooting with continuous autofocus at this price point, you should consider a Sony mirrorless camera like the Alpha A6000. Alternatively if you like the idea of buffering the last second or so of action, allowing you to effectively rewind to capture the perfect moment, then you may enjoy shooting in the 4K Photo modes of a Lumix G mirrorless camera. See my Sony A6000 review and Panasonic Lumix GX80 / GX85 review for more details.

The night photograph was very good, with the maximum shutter speed of 30 seconds and Bulb mode allowing you to capture enough light in all situations. The different Picture Styles and the ability to create your own are a real benefit to JPEG shooters, as are the Highlight Tone Priority and Auto Lighting Optimizer custom settings when used in the right conditions. The HDR mode combines three images taken at different exposures to create a single image with greater dynamic range, while the Creative Filters allow you to preview the effect before shooting. Based on the CIPA Standard and using the batteries and memory card format supplied with the camera, except where indicated In case you are wondering which of these cameras you should buy, then this is the right place to find an answer. Here you will find listed all the main differences among Nikon D5600 and Canon EOS 200D, calculated by the CameraRace iCamRank algorithm.Wifi lets you wirelessly remote control the camera with a Mac or Windows computer (using the free EOS Utility) or with an iOS or Android smartphone (using the free Camera Connect app). You can wirelessly transfer images to a variety of devices including smartphones, computers, printers and compatible cameras, or view them on DLNA devices like a Wifi-equipped TV. Alternatively you can connect the camera directly to the internet and share images on various networks via Canon’s Image Gateway. zone dual-layer metering sensor with Evaluative, partial, spot (centre only) and centre-weighted average available The new EOS 200D / Digital Rebel SL2 is slightly bigger and heavier than the EOS 100D / Digital Rebel SL1 model that it replaces, measuring 122.4 x 92.6 x 69.8mm and weighing 453g, but it's still the the world’s smallest and lightest DSLR camera with a vari-angle screen. Despite its petite size, the control layout will be instantly familiar to anyone who's used a mid-range Canon DSLR before. Those with sharp eyes will also notice a new connectivity button on the top of the camera to the left of the pop-up flash, which can be used to initiate a fast wireless connection. A small green LED blinks to tell you the cameras Wi-Fi is active, which turns constant when a successful connection has been made. The other button you get on the EOS 200D that you won’t find on the EOS 1300D is a depth-of-field preview button below the lens release. Guide to DSLRs launched in 2013 - Amateur Photographer". Turning to metering and exposure, this is looked after by a 63-zone dual-layer metering sensor. Exposure can be refined using the exposure-compensation system, which offers 1/3 stop or 1/2 stop increment adjustment over a +/-5EV range.

What is the price of CANON EOS 200D WI-FI DSLR CAMERA in Bangladesh?

Up on the top plate the on/off switch is now separated from the mode dial, making it slightly less awkward to operate with your thumb. Pushing the switch beyond its on/off settings engages video mode. The mode dial has been simplified and the PASM manual modes are clearly marked from the automatic modes. Michael can manually zoom his lens and look through the viewfinder and see the refults while the power is off. Personally, I liked the EOS 100D’s handgrip from a feel and handling perspective, however it never matched any other Canon DSLRs in this respect. The leatherette finish of the Canon EOS 200D’s grip doesn’t offer the same level of grip as its predecessor, but is more consistent with other models Canon produces and looks more stylish. People with large hands are most likely to find the grip too small, but those with small hands won’t have any complaints. If you have medium-sized hands you may find your little finger has a tendency to drop off the bottom of the grip. All of the sample images in this review were taken using the 24 megapixel Fine JPEG setting, which gives an average image size of around 7Mb.

Technically speaking, Canon EOS 200D is superior to Canon EOS 2000D, with an overall iCamRank score of 58 and 50, respectively. There’s also a built-in flash that has a guide number of 9.8 (ISO 100), and a flash recycle time of 3 seconds. Naturally, those who require a bit more power can always attach a Canon’s EX series Speedlite or trigger wireless flash via the hot shoe. When composing in Live View, I shot 169 frames in 34.71 seconds for a rate of 4.87fps, and again the camera seemed happy to keep shooting while memory and power remained.

JPEGs exhibited flattering colours, particularly for skin tones, but some shots were a little too oversaturated for my tastes. Automatic exposure settings were mostly well judged but, unlike most rival cameras, the 200D doesn’t increase its shutter speed when it’s pointed at a moving subject. That means shots taken indoors or in overcast conditions are susceptible to motion blur. It’s easily avoided using shutter priority mode if you’re happy to take control. I should also add that if the mode dial is set to Creative Filters and you enter movie mode, yet another selection of effects becomes available: Dream, Old Movies, Memory, Dramatic B&W, or Miniature which are applied automatically to the clip as you film – see the Movie mode section in a moment. As an EOS DSLR, the 200D / SL2 features a standard EF lens mount with native compatibility with the entire Canon EF lens catalogue, including EF-S models designed for its smaller APS-C sensor. This is the key benefit of the EOS 200D / Rebel SL2 over rival formats, especially youthful mirrorless ones: native access to over 80 lenses from the enormous Canon catalogue without the need for an adapter or compromised AF performance. I should also add that some of the budget lenses are much more affordable than mirrorless alternatives, in particular models like the EF 50mm f1.8. See my Canon lens guide for the lenses I recommend. Just like the EOS 800D, the Canon EOS 200D offers an ISO range of 100-25,600, which can be expanded to a maximum of ISO 51,200 in its ‘H’ setting. It comes with an Auto ISO setting for those who’d prefer the camera to be the judge of the best sensitivity setting to use and the ceiling in this setting is ISO 25,600.

I’ll concentrate on the smartphone and computer remote control here, starting with the former and the latest Camera Connect app which must first be installed on your handset. I tested the Android version 2.0.40.38 (build 593) on my Samsung Galaxy S7. The camera has access to mechanical shutter speeds between 1/4000 and 30 seconds, plus a Bulb option for longer exposures; the fastest flash sync speed is 1/200. There’s no built-in Bulb timers for pre-set periods, but when shooting in Live View you can start and stop a Bulb exposure by tapping the screen and a timer is helpfully displayed. There’s no interval timer facilities built-in either, unless you count the timelapse movie mode which doesn’t record the individual images. Offering some consolation though is the supplied EOS Utility for Mac OS and Windows systems which, when connected via USB or Wifi, offers both an interval timer and Bulb timer; the Camera Connect app also lets you tap your phone’s screen to start a Bulb exposure and again to stop it. Canon has made quite a few changes from the 100D across the body, some of which are more obvious than others. One of the noticeable differences is the material used around the handgrip. The rubberised texture is smoother and not as grippy as it was on the EOS 100D.The Canon EOS 200D (called the Digital Rebel SL2 in North America) is the the world’s lightest DSLR camera with the world’s fastest AF system. The 24 megapixel 200D / SL2 offers Dual Pixel CMOS AF for the world’s fastest Live View focusing, a vari-angle screen with touchscreen capabilities, a 63-zone metering sensor, 9 auto-focus points, ISO range of 100-25,600 (expandable to 51,200), a guided user interface, DIGIC 7 processor and 5fps continuous shooting, and Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity. The 200D's video mode offers 1080p Full HD recording at 60/50/30/25/24fps with full manual control over exposure and gain. There are a number of drive modes available on the Canon EOS 200D / SL2. These include Single Shot, Continuous Shooting, Self-timer and Remote Controlled Shooting. In Continuous Shooting mode, the camera can take pictures at a speed of 5fps for up to an unlimited number Large Fine JPEGs or 6 Raw files. As for the build quality of the EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens that comes with the camera as part of the basic kit, it’s about as good as one would expect for a kit lens that’s designed to get you started. It doesn’t have a metal mount and isn’t the retractable type, but its optical image stabiliser is effective at keeping handheld shots free of handshake and it doesn’t add much bulk to the camera.
