Walker C22 Citrus Solvent is a fast-acting and effective citrus-based adhesive cleaner. Formulated for lace bases, it works equally well on skin bases and poly perimeters on lace or monofilament bases. C22 is also popular for its solvent soak method. Pour C22 Solvent into a container and place the toupee base side down into the solvent. Make sure that the area with glue or tape is soaked in the solvent and try to keep the hair away from the solvent. Keep it soaked for at least 15 minutes. Then use a paper towel or a spoon to work off the adhesive. C22 is also popular for its solvent soak method. Solvent soak method is used to remove tape or adhesive residue from your base you would use this when you've worn a system for a really long time and the breakdown has become gooey .
The Walker Tape C-22 Solvent Spray Tape Remover is effective and fast-acting on most tapes and adhesives. Similar to dish soap, all you have to do is apply a small amount of peanut butter on the affected residue area and let it sit for half an hour to upto an hour. During this time, the peanut butter should loosen the adhesive bond. Once that’s done, you can wash your hair system and the residue should come off much easier. As always, remember to use shampoo and conditioner afterwards.
