I had forced my brother to read the series and at the start of every book he says that ‘Daisy died and Hazel did it’ and he was half right (until the end is revealed)! Amina invites Daisy and Hazel to Egypt, her home country for the holidays, and Alexander and George come along.

There’s still a little while to go until the first book in the series hits shelves in August 2022, but the author did share a bit about what fans can expect. Towards the end of Top Marks for Murder Daisy goes red and tries to make out that Amina is only ‘alright’ and that’s exactly what she was like around Martitia, so I definitely saw that one coming. On behalf of all the detectives that have read with me through out this Series I would like to say Thank you! I like the fact that Hazel had to get on her tiptoes to kiss Alexander and love the fact Daisy and Amina got together .She’s almost as good at being a detective as Daisy and Hazel, and she’s only six (as she said very loudly as soon as she saw Hazel ? That means only one thing … some of you will have FINISHED the book, and if you have I’d love to hear what you thought of it! To be honest, I actually wasn’t that sad at the end, because I had a feeling that Daisy would have survived.

And so I thought this is probably the right time to say goodbye to this this chapter and and finish the series. As a mother of 3 girls 2 of which started reading the books after there daddy died ( 23rd December 2018) I have to check and re check absolutely everything as the death of someone the girls have come to adore can have a detrimental effect to the grief the carry every day. As Hazel would say, what an utterly Daisy-ish thing to do: pretend she was dead, put Hazel through all that grief only to find out she has been on an undercover mission! It was definitely a fitting ending to the series, and I can’t wait to see what May gets up to in MOUA! It soon becomes clear to Daisy and Hazel that the victim's timid daughter is being framed - and they begin to investigate their most difficult case yet.

Some people saved her but she told them to stay quite about it and then she sent a telegram to her aunt and uncle.Hi Robin Stevens I just saw this spoiler post (my cousin actually sent me a link to it 🙏) and I thought – WOW i need comment on this! I have showed the books to my friends who also enjoy them, and me and my cousin are probably the biggest murder most unladylike fans YOU WILL EVER MEET!

I was quite sad when I read the first chapter (listened to the first chapter in the Waterstones Zoom book event) and was quite reluctant to read on but the ending was so heartwarming with the fact that Daisy was actually alive! P.S Robin Stevens I would just like to say a big thank you for making my 3 years of reading your books the best of my life! Even though I was expecting Daisy’s ‘death’, I still felt really emotional because of Hazel’s grief and how the Detective Society would never be the same again.

They soon find a murder, and must work together to solve it, using all the tricks in the book to deter the adults onboard. Brown (presumably) Amina El Maghrabi is a student at Deepdean and a member of the Detective Society.
