Most importantly, this book passes my public transportation test by making the people sitting around me give me curious and horrified glances. As promised, the book never tries to draw its own conclusions, but presents the facts of the case as is from a balanced viewpoint.

Richard Jones has created an instant masterpiece in this fantastic book, in fact, it is more than a book!In two parts : Part I 1888-1972 which features views expressed and material published, including the memoirs of officials and police officers etc. As a fish porter, he filleted fish and possessed an appropriate weapon that matched the knife with which the killer inflicted the cuts to his numerous victims. This book didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know (because look who you're talking to here) but it was fun to look at all the memorabilia that they added in to make it interesting. Where's the point in going to the trouble and expense of including these reproductions of actual victorian documents, and then not providing typed transcriptions of their contents?
