About this deal

If you love Icebreaker and Consider Me, this book will be right up your alley and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

She could have taken out so much of them in their happy phase (especially since the break up is late and doesn’t last long) and focused more on developing the conflict. I really love the characters, and, once again, enjoyed her style of writing and author voice but it was too long or not enough of the subplots threaded through. if im being honest romance books should not be longer that 500 - 600 pages because there is barely any plot and most of the chapters in this book are just them having sex anyway.nothing plot wise was going on and i was prayinggg for some drama (which normally i don't wish for but this was just that boring). with this book being 568 pages, i'm not taking the chance of continuing when i've already lost interest and there's still another 250 pages to go.

They became vulnerable in every way possible to each other and becoming each other's support system, each other's biggest cheerleaders, they're just perfection. Markovits is Professor of Politics in the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures and Adjunct Professor of Sociology at the University of Michigan. It’s a bit long (562 pages plus 5 bonus chapters 😂), but the story moves along well, and I loved the characters enough to jump right into the bonus chapters. It is remarkable as a happy marriage of the scholar's methods with the fan's passion for the world's game.

Beyond that, the twists and turns, the chemistry of the characters, the depth of story and lives, the unexpected as well as the expected. Chase was the perfect redeemed playboy, reading how he fell head over heels for Bailey was just perfection.

She never tried to get a job, she just kept drinking her vanilla latte and let chase pay for everything while using a victim coat every chance she could get. Her lack of color is contributed to by the fact that the story is told from Ryan’s POV but the story could have been so much stronger if Nicole was more interesting. Bismark Boateng, the player who I met and based my character Kofi Danquah on, is now on the books of Manchester City and is currently on loan in Norway !

The conflict is external to the couple, which I loved, but it is something very similar to happen in one of my favorite other hockey romances of 2022. Caught in the midst of a bitter rivalry that extends beyond the ice, Bailey and Chase are on opposite sides of the bench.Nicole Skye has moved to town to live with her father, the town sheriff, because of something that happened in her past.
