About this deal

If you have to work on an area that you have just adhered down, use a piece of ply board to cover the area. That will ensure you weight is spread evenly and should prevent movement on the fitted boards

We have a collective responsibility to preserve and enhance nature for future generations to enjoy. And its in our best interests to do so: our natural environment supports and sustains the North’s economy, and the health and wellbeing of its people, in myriad ways. From the water we drink to the air we breathe, the places where we live and work to where we relax and exercise, the prosperity of the North is deeply entwined with the state of its natural environment. Despite this, the state of nature in many parts of the UK is poor. In many cases, conditions are particularly bad in the North. The rosy marsh moth was discovered at Roudsea in August 2005, having long been presumed extinct in England. Its caterpillar can be found feeding on the buds and leaves of bog myrtle on warm May nights. Three coloured way-marked routes direct visitors on walks of varying lengths through the NNR. These walks aim to show off the best sights and sounds that North Walney has to offer, whilst guiding visitors safely around the nature reserve. As Norfolk is a rural county, industrial activity is sparse, meaning there are less pollutants pumped into the air which can lead to a serious reduction in the clarity of the night sky. As a result, clear night skies in north Norfolk allow visitors an unrivalled view of the night sky. Staying at Wakulla Lodge for a couple of nights was a tranquil experience and the food in their dining hall was excellent. Gulf Beach: Alligator Point Alligator Point – quiet and beautiful While you’re there, Whisby Natural World Centre (owned by NKDC) provides facilities and insight into how nature is benefitting from this former industrial landscape. Viewing balconies, a café and education centre are all available. Explore the Witham Keep an eye out of the alligators poking their eyes above the water watching you! Cedar Key Cedar Key from above

Although most NNRs are managed by Natural England, some are wholly or partly managed by other bodies approved under Section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. North Fen is most notable as an example of a ‘hydroseral’ succession from open water, through reed swamp, sedge fen, bog and carr woodland to drier oak woodland. Directions Species typical of northern meadow communities include globeflower, marsh hawks-beard and wood crane’s-bill. The population of eyebright (Euphrasia rostokoviana) is probably one of the largest in the United Kingdom. There is a very small population of the uncommon small white orchid. It also gave me a deeper sense of gratitude and honor for the scallop that gave me something to eat. This is a practice indigenous cultures have around the world – taking time to bless and honor each animal that gave its life so we may eat. A limited number of footpaths cross the mosses. Boardwalks are provided in places, but in other areas the path can be rough and sometimes very wet underfoot. While boardwalks are suitable for wheelchair users, we regret that the paths leading to these may not be; particularly after heavy rain. Students and volunteersSince 95% of farm-raised clams are harvested in the clean waters of Cedar Key, we recommend grabbing yourself a bowl of steamed clams in a white wine sauce at Steamers, a seafood restaurant.

Tiki bar lovers will enjoy grabbing an afternoon drink from the Oasis Tiki Hut just down the road at the small marina. As a major actor in the housing market, Homes England play a significant role in supporting the housing sector to deliver more sustainable homes and places. We welcome the introduction of the District Level Licencing (DLL) scheme, particularly in relation to our Burtree Garden Village development in Darlington. The reserve is at its peak between mid June to mid July. There is an abundance of many species of orchids, Ragged robin and eyebright. Species typical of northern hay meadow such as wood crane’s-bill and melancholy thistle can also be seen. However, an earlier visit in May is needed to see species such as early purple orchid and globeflower. Late flowering plants such as devil’s-bit scabious and grass-of-Parnassus can be seen in late August. Directions Natural England are working with our partners to make this new licensing option available for great crested newts across England.Cedar Key is nestled among many of these small islands 4 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico and about half a mile out from Cedar Key is Atsena Otie, which was the original village until a hurricane blew it down. Tony Juniper, chair of Natural England, said: "For decades the AONBs have helped protect the beauty of our finest landscapes. Today though we need so much more from these wonderful places, helping us adapt to climate change, catching carbon, restoring depleted wildlife and encouraging more people outside, at the same time as producing food, sustaining local communities and enhancing historic environments. Modern challenges require new approaches and today marks the beginning of a new phase for our National Landscapes, as they strengthen their existing partnerships, and forge new ones that will secure in perpetuity the huge range of benefits that come from these special places. Big change has taken place during the past 75 years and bigger changes still can be expected during the decades ahead. Uniting the National Landscapes in this way is very welcome and spells immense opportunity and great hope for the future.” If you’re looking for a place to eat, while based near or at Live Oak, the following two places are recommended. Big Wood BBQ & Grill What do you choose? Here are two of them we loved the most and are definite do not miss on our Natural North Florida road trip. They are some of the best adventures we’ve had in the USA. Airboat Ride on the Wicassa River A FUN adventure for families

Based upon our research, these are the Natural North Florida springs we have listed for a return to this area: During our one week road trip through the Natural North Florida region we explored the regions of Suwanee Wilderness Trail, Cedar Keys, Steinhatchee River, Wakulla Springs, and Monticello. The upper valley floor is a mixture of restored valley mire and species-rich grassland, together with some conifer plantation which is being diversified and restored to native habitats and mixed woodland. The River Liza dominates the landscape and is virtually unmodified across its whole length. Stretches are dominated by a rich and varied river corridor with meanders, gravel bars, multiple channels and dynamic islands. The failure to properly look after, and invest in, our natural environment is a political failure. This must change. Reversing the underinvestment and under-valuation of nature will increase the resilience of the Northern economy. Not only that, but strategic investment in nature represents a substantial opportunity to develop a fair, green, zero-carbon Northern economy. The reserve is located on the north west side of Blelham Tarn, and lies approximately 2.5km north-east of Hawkshead, 3.5 km south of Ambleside, and about 1km from the west shore of Windermere lake.
