First of all, before even getting into all the great bonus content, you'll notice the gorgeous menus. The project was thought as a means to preserve Navajo language, teaching the language to kids through a Disney movie. The only downside I can think of is that the game's theme is really secondary to the gameplay/mechanisms. Accompanied by Marlin and Nemo (Hayden Rolence), Dory leads the group to California with the help of powerful water currents.In all three occasions, it had outgrossed The Lion King to become the highest-grossing animated film. Finding Nemo also defeated The Matrix Reloaded to become the highest-grossing film of the 2003 summer season. Finding Nemo would hold the record for having the highest international gross for an animated film until 2009 when it was taken by Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Although Macy had recorded most of the dialogue, Stanton felt that the character needed a lighter touch.

I haven't had time to listen to the entire commentary quite yet, but what I've heard is as interesting as ever. Finding Dory doesn't quite reach the heights of its predecessor or Pixar's best films, but it's a thoroughly entertaining and fun adventure that does not sully the brand or disappoint at all.A cereal themed to the film was released by Kellogg's, consisting of naturally sweetened oats with fish-shaped marshmallows. The fact that Finding Dory i is a big-budget production from the last few months certainly helps, of course. To ensure that the movements of the fish in the film were believable, the animators took a crash course in fish biology and oceanography. It's very much Pixar's style, reminding me a lot of what they use to do with the bloopers at the end of some of their earlier films. I’d never seen Finding Dory although I’ve seen it’s predecessor many times with my various nephews and nieces. The original film's record numbers were in some part due to a gap in the output of the then guaranteed attraction of computer animation. Fish Schticks" (3:35) presents short little, mostly nonverbal character gags that Pixar always creates for versatile marketing of their films.
