About this deal

Spray a light coat onto the wall of the tyre until it is fully covered, avoiding tyre treads, alloy wheels or any brake apparatus, then allow to dry. This concentrated gel applies evenly, is absorbed into the rubber, repelling UV rays, rain, and detergents.

We found that one application of the McLaren dressing brought a nice, medium shine, while a second coat brought a high shine that lasted well over a couple of weeks of rain showers and routine driving. The silicones will nourish the rubber and as the carrier flashes off so quickly, it won’t degrade the rubber unlike many products currently in the marketplace. It did a good job of restoring the depth of colour to some faded trim when we applied it using a microfibre, too. Making sure that the tyres and plastics were clean and dry, we followed the application process as recommended by each product manufacturer. We found that one application brought a nice, medium shine, or it was easy to apply a second coat for a really good shine that lasted well through a few rain showers and routine driving.Tyre Cleaner – Not only does this purchase come with the tyre cleaner and polish, but it also ensures that your car tyres will stay glossy and protected! While engineering the tyre dressing for Wolfgang, chemists were instructed to address certain issues that plague spray-on tyre dressings.

We had a 2001 car with some very faded trim to spruce up for this test, as well as a newer car with some modestly greying tyres.

The Turtle Wax dressing smells strongly of chemicals compared with the others here, which is the first thing you notice.
