Core Seasonal Monsters and Aux. Seasonal Monsters, formerly known as Special Edition Monsters or Limited Edition Monsters, are a class of Monsters that are only available during their respective holiday seasons, and during the Anniversary Event. I personally think that it take a long time just to hatch and breed eggs. I do realize that it’s required so people can’t speed run the game in 5 seconds but I mean 1 day just to get one monster that’s a long time especially to beginners that don’t have many diamonds and don’t know how to use them or what to do with them. But like watching adds and only getting 15 or 30 minutes taken off the total time gets really boring fast. But with like 14 hours for the most that’s perfect like this would be the best mobile game in the world. Epic Monsters are even rarer versions of the Monsters found in My Singing Monsters, which can only be bred with 2 monsters, with the combination changing for each island. As of Version 2.0.4, iOS 8 was required to play, removing support for iPod Touch (4th generation), iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. Normally, for something to increase a Monster's happiness, the two objects must be placed side by side. However, purchasing a Unity Tree from the Market (available at level 16) will allow decorations and monsters to be placed anywhere on an island, including into Storage or a Hotel, without affecting the Monster's happiness level. Celestial Island is the only Island to not use the typical Monster group names - Monsters are sorted through Young, Adults, and Elders, instead of Common, Rare, and Epic.On February 7th, 2020, the App was removed from both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store, initially citing a Google Play Store policy change, but later decided to permanently delist the App from both App stores to focus on the main games.

Ethereal Monsters are a class of Monsters found on Ethereal Island and the Ethereal Workshop. Each Ethereal is associated with one or more of the five elements: Plasma ( ), Shadow ( ), Mech ( ), Crystal ( ), and/or Poison ( ). The Single Element Ethereals are obtained by breeding a Triple Element Monster with a Quad Element Monster on the Natural Islands. These Monsters are hard to acquire since there is only about a 1% chance per try of breeding them on the Natural Islands. They can then be teleported to Ethereal Island when fed to level 15, to breed together to make the double-element Ethereals. Unlike humans, who have to use faces that they've seen in real life when they dream, a monster's subconscious is much more powerful and can come up with original ideas.The pulsing of limited time Monsters was slowed down to make it easier to see undiscovered monsters. Magical Monsters are a unique class of Monsters first discovered by Kayna and its companions as they were awaiting reinforcements on Fire Frontier. There are four elements that a Magical Monsters can have: Psychic, Bone, Light and Faerie. Magical Monsters can exist on a Magical Island that has one of these elements. Like the Fire Monsters, there are no guarantees of getting these monsters on the first try. Single Element Natural Monsters are obtained by purchasing them in the Market. Once obtained, there is a chance to get another one by breeding it with a double or triple element Monster. For a 100% chance to get another single-element Monster, breed it with a quad-element Monster.

On all devices, My Singing Monsters uses up at least 300MB of hard drive space, and up to 500MB hard drive space can be used up by this application. Plant, Cold, Air, Water, and Earth Islands are the " Natural Islands", as they only require purchasing Single Element Monsters and breeding to populate the island. The Mirror Islands are mirror versions of the Natural Islands, only with a slightly different appearance. All Mirror island cost Diamonds, each one getting 100 Diamonds more expensive as you go (i.e. Mirror Plant costs 100, Mirror Cold costs 200, etc.). When a Natural Island is bought from the Map or Market, a Ready-to-hatch Tweedle will be in the Nurseries already. Gold Island is where monsters are placed once they have leveled to fifteen. No currency is produced on Gold Island, so it is mainly to show off. The Ethereal and Shugabush Islands require teleporting monsters from the Natural Islands to begin breeding (Single element Ethereals and the Shugabush, respectively). Tribal Island is a place for players to form a Tribe and get as many members as possible to complete the song and free the mysterious Kayna. Wublin Island contains unique monsters, called Wublins, that need to be "awoken" by zapping eggs of the monsters found on the Natural Islands into their statues. The Fire Islands are 2 islands (Fire Haven and Fire Oasis) are locations where the natural monsters can breed with the Kayna to create some of the fire hybrids formerly exclusive to the prequel game. Composer Island is very different than the other islands; it allows the player to create their own unique tunes for each Monster. Other attributes are that it is the largest island in the game, and multiple Monsters of the same species can have different songs. There are many other islands as well (See above). This was formerly the case for Gobbleygourd, who mistakenly used to be part of the inventory for Barrb's vessel, before it was replaced by Gob. It is one of three Seasonal Monsters overall to occupy more than one bed, with Jam Boree taking up three beds.Each monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the monster's level increases the coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum coins earned. The Shugabush is a special Monster only breedable on Plant Island. Like other special Monsters, it has a unique combination with a low rate of success. It can be bred with Bowgart and Clamble. On Shugabush Island, it must be teleported. The other members of the Shugafam are exclusive to Shugabush Island and can be bred with Shugabush and a specific Natural Monster.
