Wonderdraft I havent tested yet but the maps looks fantastic, all though, they are starting to look the same, like if it only had one art style. (Atleast what I’ve seen around the web.) Generalization: All maps must be drawn at a smaller scale than reality, requiring that the information included on a map be a very small sample of the wealth of information about a place. Generalization is the process of adjusting the level of detail in geographic information to be appropriate for the scale and purpose of a map, through procedures such as selection, simplification, and classification. The crosshatching between streets, preserves the layout of towns and cities, but also follows and manipulates the weighting of contours, the organic lines which show elevation.

Creating route art is great fun as well as being good for you, and the great news is you can do it on a run or cycle as well as a walk. It doesn’t matter how far your daily exercise takes you, you can draw pictures over any distance. There are plenty of impressive examples online but we recommend keeping things simple to start with.
