Ok so I had 2 of the original beauty blenders and thought why the heck would I need another but curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to see if the pro was any different.

I really love how this sponge applies products and especially how flawless the base looks when I use it. With the same, elliptical shape of the original, Beautyblender Pro Black fits perfectly to the contours of the face to effortlessly blend and blur darker make up (which has a tendency to stain the lighter, pink sponge) – think base, contour or bronzing products – to achieve a seamless, airbrushed finish. However, this is not the case with powder foundation and the Black does a better job there because it is so soft and goes into compacts nicely, IMO. It's very plush and it absorbs the water much better, and applies the foundation with a very airbrushed effect. It is easier to wash out powder than liquid from the black version, as it tends to absorb more liquid product than the pink version.
