It was real and they both needed well more like Liam needed time to accept his fears about Love and everything.

I love a good friends to lovers story and this book made me so giddy because of all the things Liam would say to Sophie. Past trauma and the threat to his contract renewal force him to look at life in a different way, and consider what really matters. The spice was hot and I can always count on Lauren for hot and delicious scenes ❤️‍🔥🤌🏻 But for me this book was so long considering it could be 50 to 80 pages less if all the unnecessary drama in the end didn't happen. We don't see too much of Jax, but he pulled at my heartstrings when he offered up some advice to Liam. I loved the epilogue it was so cute and everything and considering I don't really love HEA so it was perfect.

When McCoy offer Liam a renewed contract for the next season, he should be over the moon but their one request proves difficult for his heart. There is no concern about being bored with repetition as the story is all it’s own with only a few crossover references. Their relationship was so easy-going and natural, while they tried to be friends it was obvious they liked each other and the way Liam went above and beyond to complete everything on Sophie’s list was really sweet.

He took it far far worse than his own brother almost like there is a story behind their friendship that goes beyond just friends. I loved Liam and Sophie’s relationship evolution from friends to lovers (I don’t usually enjoy this trope so I was pleasantly surprised).i am absolutely disgusted, when i graduate from high school TRUST ME i will not be doing any of these scandalous things sophie is doing (or should i say not doing? What’s the point of attending university if I’m going to live in my dorm, barely associating with others, experiencing sex once a year with a fellow bumbling accounting major?
