Supreme Chef: Gordon's food is delicious to anyone who tastes it, though usually it's just him and Arisa. He doesn't even use a false name, which makes it easy for the military to discover who he is once he gets on their radar. It'll be fun to explore in later volumes--along with why exactly Gordon is on the run, and why Arisa exists.

Gordon, a food truck owner, is trying to exist in a post apocalyptic world when he stumbles upon a naked woman named Arisa in the desert. This food truck's turn down the final road also brings some other swerves that might ring as ill-advised or at least off-puttingly unexpected to some audiences. Bittersweet Ending: Arisa and Gordon are killed by Vald, but Kyle, Tanaka, and Myna carry on their legacy with a new food truck named after them. Since she's an Artificial Human who Escaped from the Lab, she doesn't know or care about nudity taboos (plus, wearing less clothing in the desert makes sense, at least during the day).

The art continues to carry those aspects well, alongside some more nice double-page spreads, like the scene of Gordon and Arisa first arriving in Miyajima. In a World… where most of the land has been turned into a vast desert by an apocalypse in the distant past, a lone food truck drives along from town to town.If you're after a manga with below average writing, very average art and a whole lot of a naked minor hanging out with an old man, then this is the manga for you. Even though it's only 6 chapters long at the time of the preview, we've already got some nice panels and spreads.

Sidebar - it drives me crazy that having a 17-year-old flashing her chest all over doesn’t get this an explicit content warning, while the superlative Sex Ed 120% (a series that is about 20x more wholesome and educational) does.Faking the Dead: Gordon faked his own death after an Assassination Attempt which was foiled by Kyle and Sarah, but they told everyone it succeeded. Gordon cook sizzling bacon, slurping delicious ramen, and preparing fried squid burgers were all drawn beautifully. Sand Is Water: There are still isolated lakes, like in Towata, but many areas of sand have sea life in them, like squid and oysters. Standard Post-Apocalyptic Setting: The outback variant, where the entire world seems to have become a desert wasteland, with weird mutant animals and safe settlements few and far between.
