Pressed-pearl: Similar to the shimmers in our previous palette, this pressed pearl gives stunning shimmer in a more buttery formula. Amp up your look by topping it off with one of the '3D Metals' to give your eyes an incomparable pop. It had some of the best basic colors for an all-day slay, and it also introduced some truly unique new textures – they were so innovative, you would either LOOVE them or hate them!

There are a lot of pinks, which I can imagine is not everyone’s cup of tea, but there are also a fair handful of neutral shades to balance things out. I have had the palette since July and I still haven't touched pan on any shades and I use it at least five times a week. On Instagram, the Dubai-based beauty mogul recently revealed that a new-and-improved version of the palette was on its way, and the Rose Gold Remastered Eyeshadow Palette officially made its debut earlier this week on May 22. It’s not even an exaggeration either as I like many others fell victim to this over two years ago when I tried to get my hands on the original Textured Shadows Palette – Rose Gold edition.The mattes do have some “thickness” to them, as if the particles are larger in size if you get what I mean, but I haven’t had any creasing issues.

Before, they had a flaky texture that caused fallout, making it nearly impossible to neatly apply with any tool but your fingers. It includes eight buttery mattes, eight melted metal shadows, one black shadow that can be used wet or dry, and one Pressed Pearls shadow.Wet and Dry: Our rich Black Truffle, suede-like formula was so popular for its ability to create the most smoldering smokey eye and to double-up as an eyeliner. Because the metallics are so creamy, I really hope that they won’t dry out like the other cream-to-powder shadows. All the shades are updated, but there are some shades that have been removed and/or updated for this palette. I know the launch caused an uproar among the beauty community, with Huda and Makeup fans alike complaining they’d purchased the original version after Huda’s public exclamations and reminders that it was a limited edition product and would soon be gone forever! The packaging on the original palette was one downside, so it’s nice that Huda has now upgraded the packaging and included a mirror.

I still think that 65 dollars is whooping amount for this eye shadow palette, therefore having used the very first rose gold edition palette from huda beauty I don’t think I am going to invest again on her upcoming desert dusk palette. The metallic shadows feel a lot like a cream-to-powder product and the best way to use these is with fingers or a dense stiff brush. I guess with so many lovely products coming out and with Christmas round the corner, I can’t justify the purchase. Like a lot of cream eyeshadows, fingertips tend to apply the most coverage and do the best for diffusing and blending edges, but that obviously yields less precision if one wants to use more than one shade on the lid. I had seen enough reviews to know that Huda Beauty eye shadows are great and that I needed them in my life.
