Jaime the Young Lion adds attack dice to his unit in combat, while his Kingslayer version immediately turns the enemy's failed attack into a successful counterattack against him. But if you do not like the theme, it is not ostracizing as it is still close enough to the generic fantasy that you can enjoy it as just a medieval wargame.
