I am thrilled to contribute to this wonderful story; there are echoes of my own experiences growing up with dwarfism, living in an average height family. It’s also about the big love that can come with facing that difference as a team, and the joy of having a sister, big or small, or both at once. Stepping out of your comfort zone is always exhilarating, but don't force yourself to do things that make you feel uncomfortable.

Featuring art work by Celia Ivey, a British illustrator with dwarfism commissioned by Little Island, the book will be published in spring 2023. Standing at 5-foot-nothing, with the face of a 12-year-old, it does not surprise me that people think my sister is older. So are you really going to go out, or will you continue to watch Netflix and go to the same restaurants. Katie is a relatable character: She is good-hearted and insightful, but also gets frustrated and anxious.
