About this deal

Loner Ellie Chu lives in the remote town of Squahamish, where she makes extra money writing homework papers for her fellow students. g. her insecurities, red flags) but maybe that's just because after reading her memoir, i now want to sit down with her and have a conversation about mental health and life experiences. We're actually the same age, so I've always felt some kind of connection and "special" understanding, but her book totally helped me see her from an entirely different perspective, and a very positive one actually.

The only descriptive story I could actually picture was one of the very last ones where she is shooting the final scene for her "Reckless" music video. It was inspiring to hear how other people, who you may not think struggle with anxiety and depression, get through it. After a game, mistakenly believing they both have developed feelings for each other, Paul attempts to kiss Ellie, but she rejects him. Another thing I also loved about this book was the incorporation of the journal prompts because it felt like I had the opportunity to look back upon my life, my choices, my thoughts and my feelings and then put them on paper so that I can get some kind of satisfaction and healing. It really inspired me to look inward on my own experiences and place more emphasis on finding lessons in difficult moments. After reading the book, I still know nothing about her upbringing, her friendships, her dynamics with her parents or even how it was to move and live in LA so young. I liked the writing, hopefully this isn't the last we've seen of Madison Beer's book writing journey. Whenever one of her pictures randomly popped up on my social media accounts i always thought of her as a drop dead gorgeous and insanely talented sweetheart of a girl.

Madison released the single 'Home To Another One' in June, which has already had more than 17 million streams on Spotify. Discovered at twelve years old, Madison Beer was one of the first artists to have her entire life documented online. At the end of the day, I would give it 5 stars based on the themes, the vulnerability, the gentleness and the overall reading experience, but I believe that, from an objective point of view and in terms of the writing and the structure, it deserves 3 stars.I loved how she shared some very difficult experiences but then elaborated on how they affected her, how they changed her, and how she feels it will affect her moving forward. The fact that Madison was a minor and the victim of her photos being leaked and instead of them caring about who leaked them or supporting her through the hard time, they blamed and villainized her. Madison Beer already signed copies of this title on a live-stream event, but you can watch a recording of the event to see them sign copies, tell stories and answer fan questions. I was especially jarred by her description of being misdiagnosed by mental health professionals for having warring personality traits as if this is not the female condition in a culture that demands of us to be all things at once. It hammers home the point, more striking and urgent than ever, that no matter how close the internet may make us feel to people, we truly don't know the half of it.

the topics were repetitive, the same paragraphs about internet bullies, her feeling suicidal and about how people shouldn’t be bullies. And it made me angry with the way young women are treated in the US, especially those who have a platform.

I must admit i was never much of a celebrity follower, even when i was in my teenage years, so Madison was not an exception to this rule. The reason Wu went with Netflix as her production company is that those in the industry said that more people will watch it on Netflix, even though a theatrical release would give her better renown. Leah Lewis (the actress who portrayed Ellie Chu) told Teen Vogue in an interview on 1 May 2020 that: "Most people think a love story has an equation, and that's usually boy meets girl, girl meets boy, or girl meets girl.Fans received a signed copy of the memoir and had the chance to ask Madison questions during a moderated conversation. i have so many highlights because so many of the things madison said stuck out to me, but here are just a few. I've known about Madison for years, but I only started listening to her music some months ago, and I've fallen in love with her voice, writing, and style. However, in this case "[i]t's a self-love story because these characters don't really end up with each other, but at the very end, they end up with something.
