With excellently distributed articulation and incredibly durable joints, this Hobgoblin action figure is ready to wreak havoc on your other action figures, or just serve as a nice Halloween decoration due to his Autumn-esque color scheme. Pumpkin bomb does not fit in hand without applying mass amounts of pressure, goblin glider doesn’t even hold up the figure let alone does it allow space for the feet to slide in securely. There’s lots of integrated super-articulation as always, but with no fists and an inferior glider, there’s not a ton of cool poses to stick this guy in besides throwing a bomb or holding his glider (or standing on it very straightly).
The 2022 Marvel Legends Spider-Man Retro Collection is chock full of “ultimate”, definitive-level 6” action figures. I got him to stand with a lot of luck and perseverance, but this is definitely a step back from previous Goblin Gliders.He's a great looking figure bigger thsn the 90's version but he doesn't balance well on the glider started to fall over when left to stand on it. If it came with a transparent stand that connected to it's back to make the figure look like it was floating. The tattered cape, alternate Demo-Goblin head and glowing orange pumpkin bomb make him a great eye-catching piece to any collector, or non-collectors display.

I really like the colors of this figure and overall he's pretty cool but the little negatives like the inability to use the glider and the rubber elbows do bring things down a bit. Hobgoblin does unfortunately have the rubbery elbows of some of the figures from a couple years back. I have the Retro Collection Green Goblin and his glider is really great and keeps the figure standing. Hobgoblin is the kind of villain that actually does exchange punches with Spider-Man from time to time, so the lack of interchangeable fists is a big loss here.
